Completely new. Best server for most interaction?

I am completely new to the LoTR Online and am looking for a server that has the best opportunity to quest, instance, and meet people in the beginner areas. I started a character on Windfola and am not sure if I made the right choice.

I am on the west coast in the US.

    Thanks!

For server community involvement, I don't think anyone can outdo Landroval. In the latest player-organized, Turbine supported event, the riding gala, Landroval has 9 events, most other servers have one at most.

    29 servers, 29 affirmative answers.

All you can do is try some out and see what suits you.

The best population in the starter areas will be whichever server Turbine is currently recommending for new players. That changes from time to time as Turbine tries to balance out the server populations, but the current recommended server will be at the top of the list of servers when you first use the software. (After that, whichever server you were last on will be at the top of the list.) So just load the software, and when the launcher gets to the window having you select which server to log in to, select the one at the top of the list. Whichever one that is, it will most likely have the best population.

If you've logged into one (or several) of the servers before on that PC, those servers are then shown ahead of any others. (There's a way to re-set this by removing or editing one of the configuration files, but I'm not at home right now so can't look up the details.) If Windfola wasn't at the top of the list when you first installed the software, but is now there simply because you've logged into it before, then check out whichever of the servers you haven't logged into comes after it, before the others that you haven't logged into.
