Thread: Riders of Rohan: Collectors Edition!

No, I haven't read anything about such an item. But having bought the last two CEs of LOTRO (and another game,) I'm curious what "stuff" might be in a CE for RoR!

6th inventory bag ... beyond that only Turbine knows (if anything has been even decided yet)

If I'd have to guess it would probably be alike the former collector's editions

It will be like the others but not add path of the fellowship and maybe add a warhorse

I predict pre-order goodies will include more cosmetics, a steed or two that could also be used as a cosmetic skin for the war-steed (depending on how that system will work), the 6th inventory bag, of course, and the Path of the Fellowship quest pack again (which, imho, should expand to include The Great River. The Fellowship technically does pass through the region, even if they stick to the Anduin the whole time.).

It needs to at least contain something as awesome as shared storage was. The sixth bag is much needed though for sure. All I know is the last pre-order was very disappointing.

If Turbine does release a CE and if it does come with an exclusive war mount, I hope it's way better than the sh*tt* steed that came with the Mithril Edition, which lacks speed and Morale. ¬¬

I do miss boxed collectors editions to be honest. But I do understand why they no longer do boxed expansions.

Dito. I love my MoM collectors edition with all the goodies that came with it

The Legendary pack was the CE for RoI, minus the box and anything to hold in your hand. I expect something similar for RoR. It better come with some TP and other exciting goodies besides just regions, if they want to entice those of us who have all the regions (and all the instances and skirmishes too).

I just like the "artifact" and memorabilia stuff. The art books, keep sakes, etc. Wraps up with the memories nicely.

Obviously, good electronic in-game stuff is nice. Something truly unique that doesn't get dyed and sold in the Turbine store a few months later.

I hope it will be like MoM collectors edition with ring, cd, postcars, map of moria etc. And sorry to say for those who need but i do not wish for Shared storage or anything like that. The reason is that they are old pre order stuff weve gotten before, i hope for something new and not just reposts... Cos whats point of pre order if u get the same each time? Anyways the 6th bag will be in store day after release (maybe sooner?) sooooo we have to wait and see, there might be no reason to pre order if it is the same rewards....

My guess: Premium wallet inside, and something centered around ND/Angmar

A cd of the new soundtrack music that is being written, is a must.

It is too soon, but a faux version of the Red Arrow would be interesting.

Maybe a mini desktop banner?

The Mithril edition retail price was $30. It didn't include any expansion, had a very basic (100/62) mount, 1500 TP and did not include any VIP time.

The wishful thinking is just sad. You're not going to get anywhere near that kind of a bargain for a CE.

Well since it is Rohan I'd like some Rohan theme items.
A map of Rohan on linen perhaps.
I would love a 20 ounce mead tankard with horses and other Rohan themes decorating it. (this would be for a deluxe version)
A small pewter horse and rider.

The RoR CE will replace all Khundolar 'dark sorceresses' graphics that now feature bearded or helmed men with actual thonged dark sorceresses .

I hope we get a worn symbol of elder king, premium wallet upgrade and some turbine points...that will make Scrop a happy hunter.

I'd so buy that!

I hope they do come out with a collectors edition of the expansion on disc. I like having something that I can hold on to and get all giddy about as I run home from Game Stop to install the game on my computer. I also love the little knick-knacks that come with the CE, like the One Ring. I hope this one comes with a figure of a Rider.
