Hello everyone!
I know this problem apperars in several forum threads, and sorry for repeating, but I really couldn't find a solution anywhere this far.
The problem is: when I play LotRO my characters randomly freeze to the ground. I can turn around the camera, but can not move, close windows in game, or do anything. It happens completely random (sometimes when moving, sometimes when fighting, sometimes when I am afk, and sometimes right after I logged in to the game). I tried different servers, diferent characters, but the problem is the same everywhere. Don't get an error message, maybe after some minutes I get a window pop up and says that the connection wiht the server was lost. Tried uninstall and reinstall the game- nothing changed.
Then I tried to do a bit of research on the internet, but nothing worked so far.
My pc has 3 GB of RAM memory, vga card with 1GB RAM, 4Ghz dual core processor, Windows 7 32 bit.
First tried lowering the graphics (first played with the options that the game said was optimal for my system)-- not worked (not even with the lowest settings)
Added the game to the firewall exception list, turned off my anitvirus software, tried set up my paging file and virtual memory, defragmented my drives, my video and audio drivers are the latest versions, same for direct x.
I found in some posts that the audio setting need to be changed to "Generic Software via HD Audio on speakers" but I have this option alone in sound features, so can not change.
I don't think my internet connection is the problem, because I had no problem with any other MMO (WOW, Runes Of Magic) so far, not even when I played on internet and downloaded something (for example other game clients) at the same time.
I am really off because of this, and can't think of any other solution.
The most annoying thing for me is that on my brother's pc (2,7 Ghz Pentium 4 Processor, 1 Gb RAM Memory, 512 MB RAM VGA, Windows xp 32 bit) LotRO runs smoothly (with the lowest settings of course) and he never had a pboblem with it. Not a hitch or a sign of lagg, or anything else.
Suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: random character freeze- any suggestion?
When that happens the game usually is not able to communicate both inbound/outbound with the server, the character is locked down in place while the client tries to resume the connection.
As a starting off point I would recommend this article here but follow that up with a tech support ticket as well here since they can troubleshoot connection issues much more readily that way than can be done on the forums.
Note: The Customer Support forums are for Player-to-Player help, for official support, please submit a ticket to the appropriate team via the form here.
After contacting support, log into your email webpage to add noreply@turbine.com and accountsupport@turbine.com to their "safe senders" list and your contacts list/address book.
Be sure to check Spam/Junk Mail folders as well since most email providers do not let external email programs or cell phones download mail flagged this way.
It seems that my problem solved.
The only thing I needed to do was allow my router to forward the ports LotRO using.
6+ hours of gameplay without character freeze so far. Never had that much time without one.
I am very greatful for your help! Thank you very much again! The sites you've suggested contained the solution of my problem.
