Thread: old to new

Hey all this is Calidog most of you havent been in the moors on Crick long enough to remember the old days. Not to make people feel like a noob or to say I am better then anyone else but..... back in the day b4 ell aka enchalada and even me there was some tribe out there named TDH and a crazy tank spider that decided to make a kin named I try or some thing like that. when Phantazam was the warg to watch for when you were horse back riding to some place people called elf camp???? Then if you got there watch out for the red ring darrow (sorry if I spelled it wrong) posing as a bridge NPC and some noob blue ring named chiron hiding behind the flag on top of STAB Then you finaly get there and start tour way up to the bridge and some spider comes out of nowhere named senari puts a poision on you and right about the same time as you turn to run richerdsimons comes from his sneakyness and stuns the poor freep named dylan just as he does that from the side of elf camp rossyodonald yelling and screaming as daroow pulls his bow back and lets lose his flaming arrow for the kb.
Then comes 2 wargs named stygash and calidog learning from the ones that are leading the raids against the freeps that have come to test there skills and gain some ground on these vile creatures. stygash aka epopedaed decided they would make a tribe now that all that was left was Chiron, phantazm stygash, deadlock,Calidog and 2 new reavers named Shagger and Hawkdriver. This tribe would be known as Teufel Hunden (Devil Dogs) Chiron still representing TDH (with no one else but him ever on for like 6 months) now thats dedication The fights at those points were always fun didnt matter where you found eachother it was WAR!!!!! Fight after fight was nothung to stop eather side from rushing each other, total mayham. After the day was done it was always good fights all see ya the next day.
Then comes u5 Store creeps and quest for rank and well the vets stoped teaching (Yes you guys are vets but hinestly to crick the only one from TDh would be Chiron) and that is where the moors lefft the old days. So yes its the what senniel always loved to call me and I qoute "those elitest f**ks over there creep side are #### wholes!!" yea it is our falt because we didn't care any more to teach these guys so Sorry lol but Nobuddy:cares!!!!
well guys and gurls Its been fun with the remanising sorry for all the miss spelled stuff lol you all know me so oh well. but yea, time ti finish this bong load and hit the rack later all and honestly I wish for one day all the old school TH could get a raid together and show these freeps what they missed all those moons ago later all

Now I've gone all nostalgic too. Cripper jumps off wtab with a green ring spider following him. He jumps for a blue ring r0 defiler who is already half health. He breaks his legs (gasp!) and kills the poor noob (me). Good times ^^

Cali I also now all but 2 of those people. TH was the tribe back in the day and only the real tribe to do anything against OP fraids who just wanted to faceroll. Before TH we had tragic endings though, baggie/traind was leader of that and they had all of cricks leet creeps.

LOL my first tribe ever on creepside was TH, ran with hungryeater alot back in the day (before he went crazy) but i wasn't on my defiler. Just a little squishy warg named ORZ, but yes i remember the TH days

omg cali god i miss the old days hehe. definitely TH and TE that was great. but anyways must move on and go with wat we got pvp is still fun sumtimes but nothing like back then. was good to reminice with you cali you took me back to when i cldnt leave the keyboard due to lotroholicness (<---gotta love this word). thnks for the memories cali.

This reminds me of when I first rolled a monster, a little super green warg named dugsmashh. Cali you took my sorry excuse for a warg under your wing/paw and showed me the finer points of the warg class, the moors, and of course your famous "Voice or ####". Warg packs with the rest of TF, then Warg Madness was formed. All great times, sadly it was only a couple of months before ROI and beastly freeps and i didnt really get to see much of the true glory days. But, jeez what i saw was goood.

but like tacy said, its always nice to reminisce, and we should be glad we were part of it

Old thread but just wanted to say i was totally in TE. those where the days man.

I was just thinking about those times. I remember especially well when I wasn't very ranked on champ yet and ran to EC in the middle of fighting to regen... only to be jumped by Cupcakes and Pouncer who had very conveniently followed me. A few flying f***s later EC was never a safe haven again .
And my very first raids with... lord I need to look up that burg's name! ... Sniker? That sounds about right. 'Follow the cookie'. Precious, precious times.
Also, that was much later, but Ren's rock's location is still a mystery to me. :O

Yep sniker was the lone cookie man in a world of shield followers. Personally i always preferred the swords.

You noob thor blue ring rank 0 ha blue ring came at rank 1-2 and then 3 was red had to get your bubbles filled as you went bah noobs I swear lol

Nope, if you bought like everything, even the worthless stuff you could be a blue ring at r0, pretty sure I was one. Since it was related to the competition % that you increased with the number of corruptions, skills and traits you had.

Also, seen a vid of a rank 6 or something green-ring from long ago, lol.

It has been so long I dont remember exactly but I think you had to hit r1 to open up the bubbles you needed for blue ring but I could be wrong oh well eather way your still a noob thor

Can't say I'm a vet but I do remember TH. It was my first tribe. If I remember correctly, I got there 2 weeks before Earthrooter left for TDH. I can't blame anyone for not wanting to teach this new wave of greenies. I don't think I have it in me, much more, to be "that reaver" in a full raid who runs to the first target and dies before I even see another greenie reaver get there. Most are either sitting in the back or fighting some starhugging burg, looking at me like an idiot. But, when focused fire worked in the Moors, it worked well. I miss those days. Having said that, I don't blame the greenies. If no one is willing to take up the slack of teaching 'em how to raid (and kicking the PvE ones), not even me, then I can't expect very much. Have to give it up to Hungry. He wasn't the best leader in the Moors, but he did have heart and was willing to teach some important fundamentals. That's more than I can say for myself.

You forgot "Skool of hard knocks" ....first tribe I was in, got melded into TH or something.... Those were some fun times.
