Thread: Mature player and MMO veteran looking for a welcoming kinship to call home.

Hiya.

I am a mature and experienced MMO veteran who is new to Brandywine and somewhat new to LOTRO who is looking for a mature, fun, relaxed, supportive kinship to call home. I've been a senior tank and/or melee dps in several WoW raiding guilds and now I'm levelling up a Champion here on Brandywine. I've played LOTRO before - levelled up to 65 once or twice on other servers and enjoyed the richness and fullness of LOTRO's world - but I've not been able to find a really good fit, kinship-wise. I'm looking for an evening-to-late night (I am located in the US and am online MOST often between the hours of 6pm and 4am EST) kin that has players or interests both at endgame and throughout the game experience - it would be nice not to level to 75 alone - with a decent number of players who log on regularly, at least 2, 3 times a week, for a few hours at least. A guild that can and does field raids that challenge endgame content as well as early game raids such as the Rift but which also has a relaxing, supportive community of friendship and shared experience -- the kind of guild that runs something just for fun as well as to get gear and rack up endgame experience.

I'm running F2P for the moment - no reason to sub if I can't find a good kin! - but I'll probably hit Mirkwood within the month and subscribe in early June (I have all of the major quest packs and content up to and including Enedwaith, aside from the early Skirmishes) and then start pounding away at 65-75. I'm an upperclasswoman in college, but I'm only taking one independent study course and an intership this summer and while my availiability may go down somewhat in the fall (late August), I should still be able to be online 3-4 nights a week for several hours at a time, and sporadically throughout the days.

Hopefully someone out there is looking for a new champion-playing member who has brings both maturity and friendship to her game along with MMO experience. I may not be the ULTIMATE PLAYER OF ALL TIME, but I've always been considered a talented player and a desirable raiding party, and while my LOTRO experiences so far have been solo and I'm still not entirely sure how everything works at endgame, I learn quickly with just a little bit of friendly support.

I would like to welcome you back to the game and to the Brandywine server. I would also like to invite you to check out Order of the Red Arrow. We are a laid back, helpful and growing kin that enjoys all aspects of the game. We have a few max level toons but the majority of our members are in the process of leveling so you will always have someone to group with for the more challenging content you encounter on your way to the top. Although we are looking forward to tackling the end-game content we believe the journey there is just as important and we would be happy for you to share in that journey with us. Most of us are on from around 6 to 11 est but a few of us are online off and on through the day.
