Greetings, old returning european player with a huge issue regarding my account.
I am aware about turbine taking over lotro and the eu acc migration which took place last year, i think, however i haven't done the migration procedure back then.
From what i've read in some other threads my chars are gone, but i still want to know if my account is also completely lost, meaning my old LOTRO + Mines of moria Keys also being completely useless now.
Will i be able to create a Turbine account with them if my old codemaster account no longer exists? or do i also have to buy the game + all expansions again?
Also, on a sidenote, if i have to purchase the game again, what does the mithril edition contain exactly? just the base game or expansion content as well? the description of the product isn't clear in this aspect at all, i know it reffers to mines of moria and other regions but i dont remember at all if they were in the original game or part of the expansions...it's been quite a few years.
You could ask Turbine Support for help but sorry, I think all your stuff is lost.
The Mithril Edition contains the Path of the Fellowship quest packs, which is quest packs for all the areas that the Fellowship passed thru on their way to Lothlorien. I think the ads list what quest packs they are, and it includes Moria.
The 3 expansions currently released are Moria, Mirkwood, and Isenguard. They will be releasing Rohan in the fall.

As the previous poster said, you really need to contact Turbine support about this.
I do know that no new Codemasters codes can be redeemed, so do NOT buy any cheap boxes you may see with their brand on them, the codes are useless now. Hopefully the fact that the codes had already been redeemed and it's an existing account will help, but I know nothing about the migration that happened back then.
If you can get your old account back, as an ex-subscriber you'll be considered a Premium player, which has some benefits. See the link below for details.

The base game is completely free now, there's nothing to purchase. All players get access to the starting zones of Ered Luin, The Shire, Bree, and Lone-lands, which will get you to the mid 30's. When you download the client you're actually downloading the entire game, and after that it's just a matter of unlocking access to things.
Mithril Edition contains the Path of the Fellowship quest pack, which is Trollshaws, Eregion, Moria, and Lothlorien, which will get you to about 60. It also includes 2000 Turbine Points, and a basic horse for every character you'll ever make, though you'll need to buy the Riding skill for each of them to use it. To put those 2000 TP in perspective, many zones in the game are only 600 TP to unlock, and so are additional character slots. Mithril is currently on sale at Gamestop for $15 US, making it an excellent buy as it would normally cost more than that just to buy the TP. Follow the above link for details, but ignore the part about downloading Gamestop's client. You'll only need the code from the receipt they email you.
If Mithril wasn't on sale, Isengard Legendary Edition would be the best deal. It includes Path of the Fellowship, plus Mirkwood and Isengard, the Isengard Raid/Instances, 1000 TP, some cosmetic items, and a basic horse on every character. This will get you to 75, the current level cap.
Those are the only real money packs at the moment. All the others are bought through the in-game store with TP, which you can earn in game or buy for cash. Buying anything with real money upgrades you from Free to Premium, which also gives a few advantages.
Note that the Moria quest pack included in the above packs is only the zone, and not the same as the Moria expansion which includes a few other things like access to the last 2 classes, Warden and Runekeeper.
Here's a chart that KualaBangoDango provided of which areas are included with various purchases: http://forums.lotro.com/showthread.p...k-Access-Chart
(The latest region, the Great River, isn't on the chart yet, but it would be in the category that VIPs get with their subscription and everyone else has to buy with TP. It's not part of any of the bundle purchases.)
As of today, Isengard is on sale for half price. I havn't checked yet, but if that includes the Legendary edition, that's what you'll want to buy. Isengard Legendary gives you more content per $ than Mithril does.
Cheers for all the replies guy, u answered all my questions and more
I noticed the isengard legendary edition on sale, tryed buying it using 2 different credit cards and paypal, but "payment authorisation failed" comes up all the time. Noticed there are other people having this issue so hoping it will get solved by the ticket i made to support before the offer ends...
Not to worry. As long as you contacted Account Management while the sale is on they will honor the sale price even if they can't correct it until after the sale is over.
