Ok Burglars can move around in stealth but hunters can't.Burglars have +3 Stealth level, unbreakable stealth and can share their stealth. But hunters can't even move around in stealth. So it would be nice if Turbine made IMPROVED CAMOUFLAGE!Ok let's limit this stealth skill so that it's worse than the burg's skill because Burgs are "masters of stealth"!We get this skill at lvl 75+ and the stealth lvl is +1 instead of +3.Hunters get -35% run speed in it.It's only fair to burglars because stealth is one of the awesome things about them. But I say what is the use of Camouflage if we can't even move.Alright it's useful in PvMP but how useful is it?We can't move we can just stay at a place. If we can't move around what is the use?So let's make this skill. The burgs won't be insulted this way if there's a major difference in stealth level and they get it at lvl 75+ while the burgs get it waaay too early. And anyways we can use find the path to increase run speed so that it matches the burg's speed.Let's see how much this skill is approved and then if Turbine would be as kind as to make it.
It's camouflage, not stealth - the name is a clue. If you see a tree moving its either an ent or a huorn so you take notice, whereas a camouflage skill is about avoiding detection, pure and simple. Neither should it be made into an inferior version of it, or before long some hunters will start complaining their "stealth" isn't good enough. If you want that unique ability play a burg? Too many other games end up homogenising classes because somebody sees another class with something they want, please Turbine - don't do it!
As a Hunter myself I have to say there are some things I'd like to see get "better with age". This is not one of them. If you'd like to have stealth as a hunter my suggestion is to build your hunter as an elf and use Sylvan Shadows. (though the run speed here could use a bit of an improvement). I have to agree that I'd rather see the Dev team focus on something other than turning my camouflage into Harry's cloak of invisibility.
I find camouflage rather useful actually. No; it isn't as good as Burg Stealth, but we're not Burgs either. We're Hunters. We're Ranged. We don't need to get in close. Limited movement might be nice, and somewhat realistic; but this is not a big deal.
Actually, I think the exact opposite needs to happen. Instead of allowing you to move, but with low stealth, you'll get better stealth but still be immobile.
