Make Starlit Crystals drop more often on T2 and T3 skirmishes

I just read about Starlit Crystals dropping in skirmishes on the Bullroarer U7 patch notes. Sounds cool!

While you're at it, add more incentive to run higher tier skirmishes by increasing these Starlit Crystal's drop rate in T2 & T3. Because people only run those for the lolz, if at all.

Have you tested the drop rate yet on Bullroarer?

Since this feature isn't released yet, feedback on these items would be more appropriate in the Bullroarer forum.

Re: Make Starlit Crystals drop more often on T2 and T3 skirmishes

I had the same thought too, though I'll wait for the BR results to see if it actually is a better droprate on T2/T3

The patch notes do make it sound like you only get a drop bonus by upping the size, not the tier. Considering you get better MMS and more Relics on T2/T3, it seems that you should get better Starlight drops there as well.

As someone who runs a lot of solo T3 skirms for the MMS and Relic bonuses, I'd love to continue to enjoy incentives to run some slightly more challenging content, and not just mindlessly faceroll T1 skirms as fast as possible.

Also, Rift and the first Dol Guldur skirm are going to be a lot more popular - Nurz Ghashu gets a LT in every wave, and the Dol Guldur one (the outer/inner bailey one) gets two LTs at the end of each wave...

Agree, some tier 3 skirmishes are very challenging and the reward for completion should be worthwhile.

Since the patch notes made no mention of T2 & T3, this is sort of a preemptive suggestion.

I am certain I would be unable to realistically test the drop rate on Bullroarer with spending hours upon hours doing so. An example of a sample size that might take me a day to gather: Killed 80 lieutenants in T1 Skraids with 2 starlit crystals dropping. Killed 50 lieutenants in T2 Skraids with 2 starlit crystals dropping. That would be such a small sample size it would be worthless.

Oh, I dunno. Whh and I did the new skirmish on BR today, and we didn't see any crystals, but who cares. For my part, I did it to see Saeradan again, get the [bleep] rid of the Old Goat, and avenge Andreg.
