I recently change my build and Bow to do more damage over time instead of the 20k+ HS. I am doing 1800-2100 DPS on lighting T2 but now running into huge power issues. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas for power issues besides the normal press onward, pots, and LM with out a lose to DPS, and what others DPS been in ToO to see if I am in the ballpark or still on the bench
Im running 5b 2r and i dont have power problems. If cappy is using rallying cry with power return my power is always almost at full. And yeah 20k HS is possible. In lightning if u have high steam level, telling mark, oathies etc is not hard to get that high hit.
Dont know why it went to you not doing "it" way instead of getting answers but yes I have hit for over 20k in a number of instances.
Here are just then ones I was able to get from combat log. (and no I don't doctor # )
and yes I know the 2nd one not over 20k
Calisa scored a devastating hit with Heart Seeker on Draigoch's Rear Left Claw for 21,720 Beleriand damage to Morale.
Calisa scored a devastating hit with Heart Seeker on Saruman the Shadow-bringer for 19,037 Beleriand damage to Morale
That highly spec'd for DPS you're going to have power issues. I'd only suggest that you make sure your build is aligned so you are doing high dps but still not running out of power cause of course with no power there's no dps.

Neither of these cases are representative of a normal instance when talking about values of HS. I know that I have personally hit HS of over 26k on draigoch and against certain saruman clones in ToO. Draigoch is due to the massive debuffs that accumulate as you perform FMs in the raid, and I will make an assumption that the saruman one was due to certain ring buffs (ie fire ring buff on self) put on both you and/or that saruman clone. Do not use these cases as a statement of your HS hits.
That said, power issues are going to arise when going for dps that high due to the power cost of PS, which will be used often to achieve those numbers. Traiting power return on Intent concentration, potting, using SoTE as needed, and relying on help from raid members (cappy/LM) all must be taken into consideration to keep your power levels up when striving for dps at those levels.
You can try to raise your unbuffed ICPR, but there's only so much you can do with gear for that without hurting the rest of your build.

Well duh you're hitting 20k+ on Draig and Saruman. They have instance specific debuffs that allow you do massive damage.
To parsing 1.8k-2.0k DPS on your T2 runs, nice work tbh, must have a stellar and consistent tank! If you're running into power problems, Bow of the Righteous is a great legendary to trait as it'll give you some power back per shot (don't know the actual %). That's assuming you're not traiting another legendary specific to the boss fight in orthanc. If you're doing T2C Shadow, I'd trade that for RoT/Bards for the adds, but it's always up to you and/or leader of the raid to decide the best method.
Heightened Senses is good like others have mentioned, but it'll lower your overall DPS (or could raise depending on how much time you're spending with 0 power, if any).

Surprised that no one in this thread has mentioned one of the better means of saving power: Bow of the Righteous.
It is hard to unslot once you get used to it. Those who do use it often ascertain it to be vital to their power management and keep it for all of their trait builds.
Heightened Senses is pretty decent for a non-legendary trait but it does come with the loss of 10% critical multiplier (assuming 5 blues). Only use if you are still having power problems.
