Solution for problems with .NET Framework 1.1 (XP SP3, SP2)

So lately I had a problem with .NET Framework 1.1 . Every time I tried to install it I got an "
Svcs.exe common language runtime debugging services.

So here is a solution (NOTE:Credits to: GeeksToGo forums, rshaffer61, Macboatmaster)

First, if you are getting this error, you may have some other .NET framework versions than 1.1 , go to:

    Start>Control Panel>Add or Remove programs>

Search for .Net Framework versions there, and if any, uninstall them, and reboot your computer.
If you CANNOT find any, use this tool:

    After cleaning, reboot your computer.

Try to install .NET framework 1.1 again. If the same error appears again, your OS may be in a different language installed than English. Go to:

Start>Run>(type "intl.cpl" without the quotes)>Advanced tab> Change the language to English UK(US)>Check the box labeled "Apply all settings to the current user account and to the default user profile">Apply and reboot

    Now install .NET Framework 1.1

    It should work now!

    Thanks for reading
