Hey guys, after playing my LM quite a bit I thought I might share my ideas on how to improve the LM
Pets:
-) pet damage needs scaling
-) usefulness of some pets needs to be improved
-) raven and eagle are fine
-) the lynx should be a DPS and stealth pet, he needs an in-combat stealth on a 1-2min cd
-) the bear should have a temporary inc. damage decrease to have enough time to grap aggro, so that I can safely use Beacon of Hope on him, when he gets low, without getting aggro
-) the bog-lurker shouldn´t be gated by the capstone, but rather be a normal pet
-) I have no ideas for the sabercat, but it needs a unique role (not AoE DPS, as that´s like 1% of what the LM can do himself)

Keeper of Animals:
2-set bonus:
-5s Knowledge of the Cures CD (moved from 3-set bonus)
3-set bonus:
-5% Sign of the Wild: Protection - Incoming Damage (moved from 4-set bonus)
-10% Sign of the Wild: Rage - Attack Duration (5% moved from 4-set bonus)
+600s Sign of the Wild Duration (moved from 4-set bonus)
4-set bonus:
-5s Beacon of Hope CD
100% chance for Air-lore Damage Mitigation
-60s Inner Flame CD
Inner Flame is changed from a channeled skill to a 2s induction HoT, ticks every second for as much as the channel heals now
Traits:
Most are fine
Master of Beasts - add Flank rate of your companion increased by 5%
Improved Inner Flame - add Inner Flame Healing increased by 15%
Capstone:
In combat summoning like before
Bog Lurker replaced with Master of Restoration
+30% Healing
-60s Inner Flame CD
-60s Wisdom of the Council CD
-5s Knowledge of the Cures CD
Flank Heals now put a 15s HoT on yourself (ticks every 3s for 200-250)
Ancient Master:
2-set bonus:
Warding Knowledge now works on additional genera.
Cracked Earth's root applies 5 seconds earlier.
3-set bonus:
-15s Lore Skills CD (Fire Lore, Frost Lore, Wind Lore, Herb Lore)
Targets stunned by Test of Will will be dazed for 3s after the stun
4-set bonus:
+5s Blinding Flash daze duration
Traits and Capstone are fine
Master of Nature´s Fury
Set bonuses are fine
Traits:
Improved Sign of Battle:
Changed to +15% Sign of Battle: Wizard's Fire Damage, additionally +15% Sign of Battle: Wizard's Fire Damage for every Burning Embers (Improved Burning Embers) DoT on the target
Knowledge of the Storm:
Add -10% Lightning skills CD
Knowledge of the Past:
Changed into: (Improved) Burning Embers is immune to knockback from damage, all other Fury of Nature skills will be knocked backed from damage half as much as now only
I´ll post my ideas about legacies later, any comments from you?

Interesting ideas. I think Knowledge of the Past is OP - Burning Embers is already one of the most powerful skills in the LM toolbox, with a short induction and decent damage, especially when properly traited and legacied.
I like what you've done with the KoA line, and the alternative capstone. That would certainly go a long way to improving LM healing.
Eagle...I would change, so that that ICPR buff scales with level.

the eagle need an update on restoring power ... atm it's really useless spend a trait only for so low regeneration ...
All bird need to have more improved speed atm all pet are toooooooooo much slow ! Bird and linx need a really burst of speed ! the other a normal bust anyway ...
I like the thinking and it will reopen the debate over what the blue line is supposed to be. The keep raiders and groupers want an off healer, the keen soloers wnat a serious pet making up a substantial part of the toons capabilities. Almost reuires LMs to have a fourth colour traitline to deal with the problem. Justifiable Lore wise as well, the healer line following Elrond and the revised pet line following Radagast.
As an aside I assume MONF is inspired by Gandalf the Grey, not so sure about AM.

While my ideas tend more towards the healer, I think also soloers will like them, as it especially boost self healing (1min cd inner flame as non channeled hot, self-hot added to flank heal, faster recovering Wisdom of the Council)
