Discussion: Riddermark has down Gortheron tier 2 for first time.

Hello, i'm of the opinion that we shouldnt move on until we got done the previous one. So i didn't tried Orthanc really serious until we beated down OD tier 2 challenge, wich happened yesterday. I though was done 1 year ago but i guess i was wrong.

From now on i only need Orthanc meta-deeds. but i want to make this post to announce that Riddermark (the newest server) is not a child anymore, we got people that has beaten saruman tier 1, a few tier 2 wings and At least me, i have done everything else. Yay!. all other meta-deeds challenges done but orthanc, now that we catched all others servers... let's play

Don't want to take anything away from the OP's achievement, but I have to disagree that it's hard at 75. I have run OD a couple of times now on 75 and I'd have to say, that it's basically a faceroll compared to doing it at 65. Gortheron is nowhere near as hard as he used to be back at 65. You can beat this encounter without any real strategy involved. We had our melees (2 Champs, a Burg and 2 Cappies) just blend everything coming out of the portals into a bloody mess - no need to CC anything or watch for anything special, just kill everything that moves asap. With the DPS of lvl 75 toons Gortheron's buff was almost always at 0. Only in the forochel phase we used the Cappies to kite the Caerogs. And in the last phase we CC'ed/kited the mobs from the portals, as killing them would be counter productive to tiering up the buff. The hardest part was not to fall asleep while the buff was tiering up after all of the wights have been killed.

well, for us, tier 1 gortheron is a kitty and i guess we could 6-man it. But tier 2 challenge is another story, and that's because we had not years of experience like the old americans or european servers, we had less time to learn how to play/raid/mechanics works and that's why i'm proud. Riddermark is getting better each day, i guess every server is getting better, but we'r finally on the league of end-content hardcore raiders :P.
