Thread: relic master - lost 15K shards!

I bartered nearly 15K shards for a scroll of greater empowerment with the relic master this morning to tier up t2 legacy only to discover that it did not work! I wanted to warn people before they make the same mistake as me. I'm about to submit a bug report now and I hope they refund my shards.

Thank you for the warning. Perhaps you could offer a little more information though? What was the level of the LI you were trying to use the scroll on? Did the scroll show as applied, but the tier did not change? Best of luck with the bug report.

I just want to point out that using shards for scrolls of greater empowerment is probably the most inefficient way to get them.
You can also get them through the skirmish vendor, and the stangard/limlight vendor(can't remember which) for the barter tokens if you have rep.
Best of luck in uncovering the root cause.

I would suspect that this bug has yet been unreported as you are the first person who would rather have 1 empowerment scroll over 15k shards.

Bug it, but don't hope for your shards back.

That said, wow. I have 9k shards, could get up to 15k if I wanted (big relic stockpile), but can't conceive of using them for a GSOE. 1 run of Foundry gives you about enough marks to get a GSOE, the effort to get 15k shards is vastly greater. Why are you using this approach, are you aware of all the alternatives?

I know this sounds ridiculous but I never purchased anything with shards and just wanted to try it once for fun.. I had the shards so I did it, simple as that. :-) I'll never do it again, lol. If I did not do it, they would never know about the bug.. but like you said I'm probably the only one ever to get a scroll this way! Would be an awesome way to get a worn eldar king symbol though. :-)
