Thread: Missing lottery prizes

My character Targborn on Crickhollow won an Anniversary Bundle in the 4/30/12 lottery, but he has not recieved it yet. I was not sure where to report this, and tried here first. I have logged in several times since 4/30/12 with this character, and still no prizes. Can someone check on this for me? Thanks

I've noticed something similar, sometimes it's a day or two after I see that I've won the lottery before I see the prizes in email. I've never paid that close of attention though. I just log into all of my toons every day for the Festival Invitation quest and get the email when it shows up. Unless you've won a big-ticket item like a Symbol of the Eldar King or something. :-)

Doubt they put something that rare in the lotteries ;p

The Worn Symbol of the Eldar King has been a prize in high-level lotteries.

I seem to have won about 7 or 8 lotteries over the last few days and as far as I can tell, none have been sent to any of my characters.

It's rare, yes, but it has happened. Thus disproving Legorfin's statement that they probably wouldn't.

Lotteries are beta and thus not supported in the report and get my Itemes as a result of the report.
It works on a one shot method they send a mail to the winning charackter if sor some reason there is a glitch
and the mail gets lost they do not send aniother since you never had it in inventory there is no record of you having had it and or how it dissappears. Turbine relies on the its Beta response to decrease work load and explain away most problems.

There is a long standing known issue that crops up with repeating lotteries. If you win one, and the lottery repeats, then sometimes your winning date will update as well. It will look like you won a lottery when, in fact, you did not. Obviously in this case no items are sent, as no items were actually won.

I have noticed something strange with the in-game mails. It seems that I've sometimes got double prizes; two mails with 15 of whatever barter tokens were given as the prize, mail being sent/received on the exact same minute...

Then, a related question; How difficult would it really be to list the lottery winnings here in the community site in a time-based order, instead of grouping them by the lottery title? What I'm seeing at the moment is this kind of order at the lottery page;

1 x Cinco De Ut oh...
4 x Platinum Token Lottery, dates between 05/04/2012 and 04/24/2012
7 x Silver Token Lottery, dates between 05/04/2012 and 04/23/2012
7 x Ancient Silver Token Lottery, dates between 05/03/2012 and 04/25/2012
4 x Iron Token Lottery, dates between 05/02/2012 and 04/25/2012

Et cetera. It seems that the order is based on "when you have won each specific type of lottery the last time", and then all the winnings of that specific type of lottery are listed in a group. Using this kind of ordering doesn't really make any sense to me; it just makes it very hard to see what we have really won within the last few days.

I just don't like browsing through two full accounts of characters only to see if I've won something on toons I rarely log in otherwise...
