Hoi from Crickhollow! Second Breakfast's band, th' breakfast Club, would be proud, an yet humble, t' be among th' competitors at this year's Weatherstock! We've re-built since last year, an we may still be a bit rough around th' edges, but I'll put our musicianship up against anybody's!
The cross-server band Andúnië (no relation to Andune)
will be honored to be considered for the Weatherstock Event this year.
We play our tested music on two servers, Landroval and Laurelin.
We shall present original tunes for the enjoyment of the crowd if you will have us.

Re: Weatherstock IV Official Band Signup
I would like to sign up the Mar Vanwa Tyalieva Band. We have gone by many names.
In 2010 we were Ingolemo's Lonely Heart's Club Band...
In 2011 we were The Ingolemo Experience...
I do not yet know if we will have a silly name for Weatherstock 2012. But we certainly will if Ingolemo has anything to do with it and it will almost as certainly have his name in it.

Yay! some famous bands are signing! Dont forget, if your band wins, not only do you get one of three prizes, 100 gold or more each, but you have bragging rights for a full year!
An EPIC event with EPIC lag!

Oh no
I am on vacation from 12-22 june, so I wont be able to log on lotro this days.
Would love to join, as I truly enjoyed last year with The Shades!
Weatherstock is one of the most epic events I have ever attended too.. It was truly amazing, and we were so very well welcomed from Laurelin.
It was exciting, and it was special to play for so many people.. and all the happenings around the event , made it all so professional and fun!!
I wish I could attend.. But thats how it is sometimes..
But I wish all the band so much luck!!!!Good luck with the event too. I am sure it will be amazing as usual!!
We would be honored to be able to play at the famous Weatherstock festival.
We have been going strong for a year and a half, and one believe we are fairly known on
[En-RP] Laurelin. Last gig was performed last sunday, 29th of April, when we did an Anniversary Concert
in Bree.
We're a cohesive, tightly-knit and fairly well-known kin on our native Silverlode. The kin itself was originally founded to make an excuse to entertain and play music in the general direction of the masses. We decided to make a second kinship of the same name on Landroval, specifically because of this event. (I only wish there were similar events on Silverlode. Perhaps I should do something about that.)
We've played a number of one-off shows, and have played at several ingame events as well, including but not limited to weddings, kinhouse openings, and player-planned celebrations.
Symphonious would be honored to return to Weatherstock again this year. We had a great time last year, despite our technical difficulties!
We are a music group from the Crickhollow server. Although we used to be an independent kinship, we are now part of the roleplaying kin Riders of Ravencrest. Many of our members love to write and perform ABCs, but our specialty is freestyle jamming.
Here are some videos, respectively of us at Weatherstock last year and some members freestyling at Crickhollow's Ales and Tales.
RKO (Runic Knights Orchestra) would be honored to play at Weatherstock.
We are well known on Brandywine, having played many concerts and done 2 "World Tours" to promote the two albums we released. This year, we played at the 5th Annual Popul Festivus, our 3rd year in a row to perform there.

Come on, Landroval! So far we have six bands from other servers and one from Landroval. Where's our musical pride? Don't let us down now! Landy bands sign up!

Unfortunately, due to some unfortunate timing conflicts of a non-musical nature, GHMS will not be able to play at Weatherstock this year. But we encourage any and all Landroval bands to step up and defend the honour of our server!!!
Various Hobbits, Thwilda the dwarf lass, and Gnersk, Stalker
The LMB bands of BBB, Old Winyards, and Andune Ensemble will be participating in the event, but not competing directly. So you'll be seeing more of Landroval music even if its not one of the 10.
Its going to turn out to be quite an interesting Weatherstock with a much wider server scope this year!

Ah, that's too bad! Well, MVT will make sure to represent our fair server to the best of our ability no matter what!

The Songburrow Strollers would be both honoured, excited and (just a tiny little bit) mortified ter return to Weatherstock! Since there were quite a few biscuits we weren't able ter eat last year, we just have ter come look for them again!
We are currently engaged in a tour of the Shire farms. After all, what better places ter play if yer a hungry hobbit?
Highlighs from the last concert, kindly produced by master Gemer
Earlier concerts include an exciting tour of the Breelands (2011), a pleasant tour of the Four Farthings (2010) and several one-off performances across the Shire over the years.
We also attended Weatherstock 2011, where we tied with them lovely lads and lasses in the Green Hill Music Society for the Light in the Dark award. I believe our final bouncing song near brought the server to its knees...
The Bywater Bouncing Song at Weatherstock
We hope ter be put on the list of bands playing this year too, and we look forward ter meeting all them lovely people who welcomed us so kindly last year!
PS honey oat biscuits are our favourite!

Thank you so much for allowing us to participate! We all kind of assumed that playing at Weatherstock was a pipe-dream, but then one day we got pretty bored (have you noticed that this is our main motivation for pretty much everything?) and just decided to roll tunes on Landroval and give it a shot.
And then we got it. *insert cabbage patch dancing emoticon here*
We are thrilled beyond words, and can't wait to rock everyone's freakin' faces off.
Just thought I would mention ANDÚNIË is across two servers, both Landroval and Laurelin, so we are kind of a home band with members from many places in the world (all Elves).
With so many coming over from different servers, I would assume many would be in their younger incarnation with little musical skills. I would highly advise that those who need to learn to play new instruments attend the weekly Ales & Tales mentoring session on Mondays.
Hello, I am Emyli from the kinship Symphonia et Gloria, Belegaer server. We would like to apply for Weatherstock with our house-band.We organize a lot of different events:
We provide a full service for marriages, from music to catering.
We have a Tavern with drinks, foot and lots of music.
We have a kin band and we play our own songs on some occasions.
We have our own public poem and story-telling evenings every month and also our own kinship-anthem.
It would be a great honor to play our music on this contest!
And with that, Weatherstock IV Band registration is closed! Here's our 2012 lineup:
The Breakfast Club (Crickhollow)
Andúnië (Landroval and Laurelin)
Mar Vanwa Tyalieva (Landroval)
The Chosen Few (Laurelin)
Don't Tempt Me Frodo (Silverlode)
Symphonious (Crickhollow)
RKO (Brandywine)
The Songburrow Strollers (Laurelin)
Symphonia et Gloria (Belegaer)
Mornie Alantie (Belegaer)
What an incredible field we have! Keep an eye on this thread for additional information on Concert Schedules and help with mentoring/clothing on Landroval. All bands should subscribe to this thread to keep up.
Mornie Alantie also played at the finishing concert in Rivendell which was part of "The Walk from the Shire to Rivendell" event-week I organized together with some of my RP group back in 2011.
Symphonious would be honored to return to Weatherstock again this year. We had a great time last year, despite our technical difficulties!

Re: Weatherstock IV Official Band Signup
Well, this is certainly going to be a Weatherstock like no other. I know that, once again, I feel privileged to be taking part. But that doesn't mean MVT is going to be taking it easy on any of you! We go to Weatherstock to rock and we won't hold back!

Now that the lineup is official, the Landroval Times would love to conduct a series of interviews with the bands involved in preparation for the big day once everyone/band leaders have begun their trip over. If there are any that are already here, and would not mind answering a handful of questions, please do let me know (either here on the forums, or ingame mail to Sparkleigh) and we can set up a time and place to meet!
You may contact me for an interview for MVT at any time.
Zitat von Laurefinde
You can contact Makalaure, leader of Andúnië, as well. I live on Landroval.
Fantastic! Once I have a clear idea of my free schedule, I'll be sending both of y'all a PM on the forums with my availability so we can work out a time that's best for you!
Also, each band will soon be in contact with your Weatherstock Roadie! Your Roadie will be your contact for all things Weatherstock, and will arrange costuming, transportation, and any special effects and lighting.
If you visit the site you will only see the initial pages to join because only members of the Elven music society have access to the abc files, a few of which are original.
