Thread: Farewell Shapcidrat

For those of you who dont know, shap has left to elendimir or whatever the server is called. Shap has been considered the leader of not just chaos, but the leader of all the creeps on this server. He lead with his heart and made sure everyone had a good time playing on creepside. Luggy was the main reason i went to play creepside, but when he left i had gotten to know Shap. I eventually joined Shaps tribe, Chaos, and have had the best time ever playing with him and fellow tribemates. He will be dearly missed. Roudy will now be taking lead of Chaos and we plan to keep on the good fights in the moors. Not going to lie, almost teared up when i saw "Shapcidrat has left your tribe." That was the moment i knew the transfer went through and he was gone for good. Please post positive memories youve had of shap to remember the good times with him. My favorite memories with shap include tracking xuneng across the map, wiping an ainur raid inside dg, and much more. Post yours :'(

Porken was alone on the 2nd floor landing in TA fighting 3 freeps when Shap's group rolled in at the last second to bubble and saves meh.

There is always a visible difference when Shap is calling raids, you can see who the targets are. No more reavers walking up to freep raids when he's at the reigns, the focus fire is on, and strategic positioning is just a given. He also pushes for open field fights, none of this npc hiding nonsense. Good luck DD with the loss of a creep who actually encouraged you all to fight on the pvp map, and fight well.

Great Raid Wl, all i can say, everytime i see him, i know the person im about to kill wont die, and i probably will.. you will be missed.

Well, I'm sorry to hear this and a bit surprised since I didn't catch wind of it until now, although I did see that Roudy was the new leader a few days ago. Shap will be missed on creepside. My first tribe was Shap's Brigade and then when they became Chaos, I got ranked up, and I've been in Chaos since. Shap was never elitist out in the moors and always trying to teach the new creeps how to group up, the ones who were willing to be taught anyway. So, it is unfortunate news to hear but creeps will push on

On a more positive note, new leaders are and will continue to step up to keep the action interesting. Torqky/turtles, in particular, has been doing a great job of getting people grouped up on both sides. There are a number of others running successful groups but turtle's groups are almost always effective because he's using voice, calling good targets and keeping morale up. See you all out there XD

Yeah, when Shap told me he was transferring I was sad to see him go. Shap was really one of the first people to help me out when we started playing Creeps around the same time. Since then, through Shap's brigade and Chaos, he's been one of my favorite people to group with. (Also he said he'll still play on his BA and stuff so we should still see him around some, just not on his WL.) Been an excellent raid leader and always made it fun to play! (I'm trying to step up and learn how to lead raids, been semi-successful so far, also teaching some of the newbies how to follow targets and such )

Really sad to see him go, a great person and creep, strategic, friendly, honestly one of the best guys ive met on here, havn't raided with him alot, cus i dont usually do it, but it always was fun grouping with him in raids/groups/duo he brought a level of awsomeness to creepside in general that I really havn't seen in a long time. Not much more i can say besides gonna miss the big WL.

My memories of Shap and his raids:

Getting killed on TA lawn, getting killed on STAB, getting killed at LC, Getting killed at OC, getting killed between GV and EC, getting killed at EC, getting killed in DG, getting killed out the front of OR, getting killed at Isen, getting killed while cleansing the Hoardale, getting killed in the Smurf village, getting killed near the cows, getting killed in an OP, getting killed at WTAB, getting killed...

Just found out about this having just read the thread and prolly one of the saddest moments I have had in DD pvmp history which stretches a fair way back.

Really sad to see you go mate .. will miss you saving my #### with a timely bubble!

Nuu! T_T 'Tis a sad day to have learned this. Gonna miss those massive heals and the rezzes I would get after I would sacrifice myself to set up a kill =( Anyway, good luck on E man and give'em hell! XD

Ive had alot of memorie's with shap in the 4 months ive been back but the best is when I first logged into healree first day I got back and there was this r8 wl that sends me a tell " hey are you guido " im like yea hes like ive heard alot of bout you welcome back invites me to fellow and we pwned some nubs <-- although Ive pwned alot of nubs with him that had to be the greatest moment

I don't even know what to say.... Shap was the one who got me into Creepside in the first place, I would never have come back to the moors if he had not invited my R0 reaver into a raid my first day on creepside.. on behalf of all of DD, thank you so much for all you have put into our server!! I'ts sad to see you go, but I'm sure we'll still cya around a little in some form!

Most of my days in the moors i spend a lot of time with Shapcidrat since he was online a lot when i was (eu timezone like).
And also joined his raids a lot during peak times when there were raid versus raid fights going on.

As soon as you saw Shapcidrat shouting in ooc he needs every creep online to x up and join his raid.
You just know sh!t was about to get loose.

He's Dwarrowdelfs best creep raid leader and im sure everyone else agrees.
Never to be forgotten.

I used to fellow with shap all the time on reaverbooty way back when I creeped. He was like r4 at the time. He was one of the most reliable wls I've ever rolled with.

I think 'Rock Lobster' would of been the more appropriate song here.

Haven't been in moors long but I was there when Shap came back. In fact.. i was killed by him and a few others in TA just before all the freeps started going 'Holy #### shap is back' on ooc, followed immediately by torqky swapping to his creep. Seems like a cool guy judging by those reactions.

Shap was probably the main reason I kept at my WL after hating R0-R2. Taught me many things about how to get better.
