Loading Screens are part of the "game client". But as I said, there's no way they'll ever enforce it for this. The only possible impact is on my client, and they're not so brain-dead that they'd risk losing paying customers over loading screens.

Actually, they would. I tried the same thing and I was given a warning for it. Can't remember the exact quote but the jist was if you do it and they catch you, you will get banned.

In my humble opinion, 3 year olds should be playing outside and doing crafts, not watching/playing online, teen rated video games. The option to change loading screens just seems silly. Sorry! Give your kid a coloring book, an action figure, a soccer ball

From who? The moderators? I've talked about doing this in dozens of posts over the past 18 months, and nobody ever "warned" me. And even if they did... I'd ignore them. In order to even detect this, they'd have to spend engineering time to detect the "wrong" loading screens (file size or checksum), and then report that information back to Galactic HQ. Please. If they were to work that hard at banning paying customers, they'd be such morons they wouldn't deserve any of my $$.

I'm pretty sure this game is rated teen. If your son sees something that frightens him... not Turbine's fault.

Well at least read the original post before you go off

She isn't letting her son play the game, he watches her play it and when he is watching she only runs around the shire and in town opening doors and picking up envelopes with no fighting or monsters.

She wasn't asking to have anything removed from the game, just an option to control which loading screens show (which may be handled by using a plug in).

You would send a 3 year old outside to play football? Really? Well that's another debate.

IT wasn't scary. And I always liked killer clowns.
