Thread: RK armour cosmetics

I've been playing around with builds a bit trying different armour etc. Please Turbine come up with some better looking armour. Yes Aesthetics are not huge but when the gear I dye only dyes partly and leaves the ugly brown chest or what not, its not pretty. The last armour I had that I thought looked decent was Moria gear. I've gotten my moors build and with the helm visible, it looks like I'm a giant...well I won't say it but does anyone else notice that light and medium armour get the short end of the stick in the aesthetics department?

I'm happy with the usefulness of my current armour but can we please make the armour look better.

I quite liked DN, BG and FD Sets

Orthanc is too dark for me, and I don´t like the Egyptian helmet

Our Moors Set looks better than many others, though that´s not hard, as all Moors sets look kinda awful

Back in Radiance days, when the level cap was 60, and people were grinding Forges for the barter token, there was a non-radiance robe that dropped from the Hard Mode chest. If I find it here, I'll link it. I think it is still gettable, by running Forges.

Edit: Can't find it in the Lorebook. It may no longer exist, although I may try to do some Forges runs to find out for sure.

also, the old moors hele-style set dyed black is sick, i still use it with a few other things, ill take a screenshot tonight

Has anyone ever found anything that matches with the Rune-keeper's steed?
I find it absolutely impossible to find something suitable due to the oddly dyed cloth on the horse.

I just realized how dark my pictures were. I will upload better ones when I get home because I really think my outfit goes well with the steed

Another problem i see is that some of these gear look nice on elf and weird on dwarves, and some are the other way around.

Considering this is a class that is available for only 2 races, i wish that could be taken in consideration.

I agree with Ames' OP though, our gear still looks ugly if compared to some of the others.

I mean, have u taken a look at the warden gear since moria? Every single set of armor of theirs looks awesome. Moria, DN, BG, OD, Draig, Orthanc, Moors AUD Gear, heck even their old Helegrod set looks nice.
