When I am gnawing on Thorrod attempting to get some yummy infamy from him, this is what I am thinking about.

Scallops....yummmy!
Ingredients

• 1 1/2 pounds bay scallops
• 1 tablespoon garlic salt
• 2 tablespoons butter, melted
• 2 tablespoons lemonjuice

Directions

1. Turn broiler on.
2. Rinse scallop and place in a shallow baking pan. Sprinkle with garlic salt, melted butter or margarine and lemon juice.
3. Broil 6 to 8 minutes or until scallops start to turn golden. Remove from oven and serve with extra melted butter or margarine on the side for dipping.

In most cases, a giant helping of Thorrod is usually followed by....

P.S. Thanks for the reminder about the cleansing wipes, I promised the Mayor his kitchen would be sparkling clean after I finished baking the bread. He was a little worried we'd leave a mess.

Yes, I did hear that. It is quite sad . They believe that it was because he had too many head injuries during his football career.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens in 20 years when all these athletes, especially the hockey players, have serious health complications from all these concussions.

I wonder if they would have any lawsuits against the league.

From what I have heard, many old players from the NFL are suing the league for injuries, primarily head injuries that have caused mental problems for the athletes.

Hopefully with the new safety regulations in the NFL and the crackdowns on the bounty scandals, we won't see stuff like this in the future.

im sure now in the contracts they will put in a clause saying the players cant sue for injuries. I dont understand how these guys get paid millions per year then have the gall to sue for millions more. You are playing a GAME for lots and lots of money for petes sake, take the money ya get and enjoy it.

Yes, BUT, in the case of someone like Sidney Crosby, the league has had countless chances to deal with the headshots that caused his concussions.
