Thread: T2 Orthanc statistics by server

I was curious to see how many unique kins/alliances on each server have completed at least one wing of Orthanc T2. I wanted to see if there is a big disparity between servers.

Most servers seem to only have a few kinships that have completed a T2 Orthanc thus far, according to data gathered from the new raid progression thread:

So looks like a player with aspirations of completing the most challenging raid content should consider Elendilmir or sprechen Deutsch for the most options.

(I am fairly certain that I captured the data from the progression thread accurately, but apologies in advance if there are any mistakes here.)

Gladden, Disciples of the Hammer, ToO T2, Lightning and Fire&Ice Wings.

They don't call it "Big E" for nothin'... On the other hand it's nice to be a big fish in a small pond. There are probably 4-6 kins on Arkenstone that raid Orthanc T2 regularly (at least once a week) and I would guess most are making Shadow Challenge attempts.

There are at least two groups on Vilya that have completed T2C on at least lightning, and I have heard rumors that up to two more groups have completed it as well.

I know of at least 4 groups that have completed Shadow T2C, but have declined to post, one of which is on Vilya.

The initial assumption that all kins/raid groups will post results to the raid progression thread is a flawed one.

There may however, be a correlation in that if 1/4 of the groups/kins do, on average, that the method still has statistical validity.

Heck on my server, there's a particularly annoying kin that makes it a policy to have every member of their raid spam GLFF with their kin name in all caps when they down an orthanc raid boss (even T1). Since they're the only ones who do it, I don't assume that nobody else is beating Saruman, etc....

@ OP On Withywindle there are 4 Kins that completed atleast 1 Wing t2 .. I dont think our Kins ever bothered to post on the progression Thread ^.^ we do have our own server one tho,where kins and alliances post more.

I have to add to other feedback that I believe there are a number of kins that have beaten Orthanc T2 wings but have not posted to the progression threads. At this point the raid has been out a long time and I would assume that strategies are fairly well disseminated (even if we haven't had a Yelk-style LT guide or Preying Mantis Watcher walkthrough). My guess is that every server has 2-4 groups that beat at least one wing fairly regularly, with the larger servers having closer to 10-12.

As an example, I know that on Gladden, House of Elders, SarumanSays pug, Disciples of the Hammer, and Melkor's Bane all raid the Tower T2 each week (and there are probably some other groups that do as well but I am not aware of), but only two of those groups posted to the progression thread.

Still, interesting stats. Thanks for compiling OP.

Whatever happened to Telcontari, Resistance, Maelstrom, and Misadventurers? Or do they just not report here on the forums?

Is this supposed to be a serious thread? If so, Withywindle has now 5 succesful kins/groups at T2 Orthanc, which is quite nice for the youngest and one the smallest servers

On Crickhollow Balrog Alliance has completed Lightning T2C, FnF T2, Acid T2C; Asylum has completed all that but Acid T2 w/o the challenge, Fightclub has completed Lightning T2C and FnF T2, Facerollers have completed T2C Lightning at least, not sure about FnF T2, so make it 4.

I think one should count the T2-kills without Kalbak - this Boss is a joke and killed very often with random-groups (on our server (maiar))...

The OP is free to count whatever he likes. T2 Lightning (Kalbak) Is still a huge step up from the difficulty of ANY T1 wing and deserves to be considered a T2 kill, after all, it is.

On Anduin, there are at least 5 Raids succeeding in Tier 2.

2.) Fluchtpunkt (Lightning T2 CM, Fire&Frost T2)
3.) Eclipse/Societas (Lightning T2 CM, Fire&Frost T2)
4.) Krieger der Haradrim (Lightning T2 CM, Fire&Frost T2)
5.) Unbroken Flowers (Lightning T2 CM)

This is not quite up to date.
Krieger der Haradrim got F&F T2 last week.

For being a RP server, Laurelin has its fair share of success on doing Orthanc.

There are several raidgroups which clean Orthanc at tier 1. In tier 2, as far as i know, there are right now three successful raidgroups: Innocent, Hispanea and Les Adorables.

Innocent has beaten Lightning (Challenge mode), Acid (Challenge mode), Fire&Frost and Shadow (Challenge mode). So in par with any other raidgroup in any server.
Hispanea has beaten Lightning (Challenge mode), Fire&Frost and Shadow. Not sure about Acid.
Les Adorables has beaten Lightning (Challenge mode), Acid and Fire&Frost.

So you can still find raidforces at Laurelin doing things (not always easy as RP servers have less hardcore raiders than a non RP server).
