Thread: confusion of glorious recipes plz help

in supreme tier, i want to make the glorious galedhrim armor. when i got to the metalsmith guild it does not sell those recipes but when i search google or the lotro website on where to find the glorious recipes it says that it is in the guild. i checked numerous times if the guild really does but it doesnt. can someone tell me how to get those galedhrim recipes. also i cant buy the recipes in lothlorien because i cant enter due to me being a f2p

Those recipes and some of the other supreme level recipes must be purchased in Lothlorien or in Mirkwood depending on the recipe. In addition, some of the recipes require a certain level of rep with the appropriate faction before you can learn the recipes.

You can't get into Lothlorien because you don't have enough rep, not because you are F2P. Unless you buy the quest packs, you would be limited to the epic quest line, but that should get you enough rep to enter.

These are purchased from Maenasdir in the crafting area in the Vineyards of Lorien. Require Friend standing with Galadrihm to purchase, and Kindred standing with the Guild to learn. Weird setup where you buy a "scroll case" which you have to open to get the recipe, then learn the recipe. Once you learn the skill it then shows up in your Guild section of crafting panel.

The confusion comes in because they are Guild recipe to use, not purchase from the guild.

If your F2P and dont have the Lorien quest pack, not sure if you can make it to Friend standing without being able to do the quests in Lorien... might be able to grind the repeatables in the Dale area outside, but I've always had Lorien so not 100% if you can do that.

As f2p who doesn't have the Lothlorien Questpack you won't be able to get the recipes. Like already mentioned they are guild recipes but you still only can buy them from the Galadhrim in the vineyards in east Lothlorien. And there you only can get with friend standing with them. And to actually buy/use/learn them you again need a certain reputation standing.

But you still can ask someone to craft them for you.
