Thread: Switching Servers

I was wondering how good is the end-game stuff on this server? I've been looking for a server that runs end-game stuff consistently and successfully. The server I play on, Imladris, has no one good left for me to run ToO with. So, I'm looking for a server to switch toons to. Any feedback on how good this server is will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know anything about Eldar, but Brandywine has one of the largest, if not THE largest population US side. I'm always seeing people in GLFF, LFF, and regional channels LFF/M for ToO, Turtle, Draigoch(SP?) etc. As well as occasional groups for Moria, Rift and other older instances.

That's the problem. I don't want to join a big server.

There are a number of kins running & clearing current tier 2 content as far as i am aware, also there's plenty of pug groups for Draigoch, tier 1 Orthanc and all of the other stuff, the server is also very active with regards to PvP.

As to how good this server is compared to others i honestly have no idea, i have only ever played on Vanyar.
The logical thing would be to roll a toon on Eldar and level, whilst paying attention to globallff & server activity, personally if i was based in the US i would roll on E or Brandywine.

Something else to consider is that you won't be able to transfer your character(s) from Imladris to Eldar as Imladris is in the North American group of servers and Eldar is in the (ex-)European group of servers. So if you did want to play on Eldar you'd have to roll a new character unfortunately.

Also being an ex-EU server the peak times when people are looking for groups or kin runs are happening may not coincide with when you are able to play.

But if those aren't problems for you then I'd second what Neen said about server activity, although I've not really played on other servers either for a comparison.

Out of curiostity, who was your character on imladris? Also I'm going to transfer servers for the same reason you are. I looked at the Eldar raid progression thread and looks like they are doing well on ToO.

i think you should go to Eldar it rocks, even thought i've only played for about 5 mounths but it still rocks and i'm only a low level but i can gain levels fast enough i know alot of people who i just ask for help on a skrim and they say yes so i think you should go to Eldar.
