medium armor
staff + sickle/scimitar
races: elf, man, hobbit
druids in lotro would call upon nature (tactical offense) to dmg and aid allies in battle
could also bring new buffs to the game ,
thinking along the lines of radaghast as far as lore of the toon
druids could also charm animals and plant life to aid the grp in battle
druids would use the elements for dps controlling earth, water, fire, and air
Lore-masters are one of the most powerful classes in the game, able to solo on level fellowship content.
I would recommend leveling one to 75 before deciding they are "not Druids".
Obviously you do not play one. Or your Lore Master is very low level. Or you do not know how to get the most out of your Lore Master. They are an extremely powerful class when configured correctly and played so as to make proper use of the gear and build.
A Lore Master is a difficult class to play well. If you are not being all you can be as a Lore Master. Go here: http://forums.lotro.com/forumdisplay...0-Lore-masters
read and understand. Practice. Ask questions of the class experts. Get a Mentor Lore Master. I learned a lot from my Mentor when I was running Rift on my Lore Master years ago.
I don't play my Lore Master as much in group time any more. There is always such a demand for tanks and healers. There are very few modern instances that are designed in such a way (like the Rift is) that a pair of Lore Masters makes it so much easier. Most of the modern instances seemed to be designed around positioning characters, tank and spank and moving at the right times.
Unless stated otherwise, all content in this post is My Personal Opinion.
It sounds like your a button masher LM Micaa. Which make the worse type of LM. See LM you have to look at the battlefeild. See the targets you need to control. Like your dream Druid. With Stuns Roots and Pets. Then take your time take a Monster at a time and win.
Hay Yula_the_Mighty I think we metored alot of LM on the same server.

im thinking druids would have 3 different dps trees like hunters or 2 dps tress and 1 buff tree
And of course, they'd be shape-shifters too, got to do the WOW thing properly, eh?
And yes, LMs are POWERFUL when played by someone who's spent time with them and learned how to. I expect a Warden is probably easier to level, not having done one I can only go on what I read, but leveling an LM is an exercise in EZMODE.
Nope. Druids are a sort of priest, and Tolkien deliberately left out anything like that. That's why we don't have straightforward Clerics/Priests/whatever or Paladins, either; we have different classes that do the same sort of thing, just without any religious stuff. As people have been saying, the LM is already the nearest thing you'll get to a Druid.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!"
Civ II rules after all these years......

And of course they can shapeshift into cats for melee dps, moonkins for ranged dps, bears for tanking and also they can heal of course. And naturally they can shapeshift into birds, making them the only class in the game able to fly.
And they should get crowd control spells like entangling roots, hibernate and cyclone for good measure.
