Thread: Exaulted Combatant

Can anyone tell me about this skill. Is it passive.. I have never seen it in combat logs or seen a skill anywhere in the skill pages.

I don't have all the details, as this skill seems to be shrouded in mystery. Here is what I do know though:

Yes, it is a passive skill. You do nothing different, it fires off by itself.

What triggers it is you dropping below a certain thresh hold of your morale (seems it's somewhere around 10%-20% of your total morale iirc).

You need to be in Glory for it to activate (which is most likely why you've never seen it go off).

It will show up in your combat log when it does fire off though. I want to say that when I was messing around in Glory, I seem to remember it healing myself for about 4.5k? I think the heal it provides is tied to a percentage of your max morale as well, but I'm not really sure how much it is. I don't remember how much morale I had in that build when I remember it activating. Maybe it's a heal for somewhere around 1/3 of your max morale? Don't quote me on that though.



I don't run in Glory that often, so don't have too much experience with this skill. Maybe some of those crazy Champs who solo instances and large mobs can shed some more light on it? Hope this little bit helps though.

This is as far as I can tell correct, I think you need to be traited at least 4 blue for it to work as well.

1. It is a passive skill that automatically goes off once you are hit at under 20% morale.

2. It heals somewhere between 1/4 to 1/3 of your max morale.

3. It can only be used every 1 minute and 30 seconds (1 minute with draigoch set)

4. You must be in glory stance for it to activate (stance dancing works, but you must be hit by a skill at under 20% morale in glory, not just drop under 20% morale.

5. You must be slotted at least 4 deep into the Martial Champion traitline to have access to the Exalted Combatant effect.

That is about all there is to know about it.

I am quite sure I have received the Exalted Combatant heal once in Fervor, and twice in Ardor; both of the times I was in an instance.

If it happened then its a /bug or, looking at your chat log, you may be seeing the use of True Heroics which, for some reason, has the power heal component described as belonging to Exalted Combatant in the combat logs.

I've seen it activate in fervour multiple times as does another champ from kin, but it heals power and not morale and not a lot just 300~ but I've seen it happen a few times and in combat log it's also called Exalted Combatant

Yeah that isn't Exalted Combatant...its True Heroics. If you see This Thread around about page 8 is when I was able to finally parse and realize that the power heal component of True Heroics shows up in the combat log as being "Exalted Combatant."

Anyway Exalted Combatant as a real effect (not as a typo for True Heroics) is only active in Glory.

all of what this guy is true besides this. it will proc even if your not taking damage.

it also wont proc from my xp in freep v freep spars

as for these two you most likely got proc heals from true heroics both of which can heal morale and power

the health heal needs to be on your rune and heals for something like 1k at 80% maxed out other than that it should never have proc'd otherwise you will know because it WILL give you a buff that says exhaltant combatant cooldown.

You don't have to take damage but you must be targeted by a skill after you drop below 20%. You can P/E/Resist (or have the opponent Miss) but there must be some skill played by your opponent after you drop below 20% though, again, you don't have to take damage. DoTs placed above 20% seem to count as well if the tic happens after 20% and, again, even if resisted.
