Thread: ~Better Houses~

Hello! I just posted this thread because i want the houses and furniture to be better. I haven´t checked if it´s already have been posted, but i have some suggestions to what we can make better.

1.~Better tables with chair space aside~

2.~Easier methods to sit down on a chair with~

3.~Bigger and more realistic houses, with a gallery on the most expensive houses~

4.~More different types of houses with different prices~

5.~kinship houses shall be more like a castle (with many rooms an corridors)~

6. ~More furniture to craft~

I would love these but I pretty well gave up on them getting done.

Well, at least they read every post that gets reported . Plus some of the others. If they really read every post here, they'd be at it 24/7.

OP: trying to do "petitions" or "polls" here is pretty much a waste of time. Turbine doesn't make their decisions that way (nor should they - these threads always have huge self-selection problems, and a high majority of their players don't even read the forums, let alone post on them). Just discuss the ideas. Developers do lurk here sometimes, and mods do sometimes forward posts or links for threads of interest to members of the team.

As for housing... incremental improvements might stand a chance and I think your suggestions mostly qualify. Personally, I'd like to have a stable in my yard with a user-selectable swift travel route (changable once a week) and stalls for 3 horses... more would probably be too big. I'd also like to have a house pet (a dog in my case) who'd greet me when I came in the door. Finally, I'd like a "basement" with more hooks and another storage chest in it. I'd be willing to pay TP for all three. Maybe something like:

• Basement with 8 more hooks and a 3rd storage chest: 1095 TP
• House pet: 495 TP
• Stable with 3 stalls and ST route: 895 TP

I love your ideas and I think the more threads about housing being raised the bigger is the chance to push those ideas on the right tables.

I would pay 2000TPS for a little pond in my garden where I may throw in some usefull fish caught somewhere in middle-earth. That sort of fish should spread in the hometowns waters to be catched again with a high chance.
Of course the recipes for cooking them should be carfully revamped on any tier.

I'd like to have a little trailer with educts/products for peer2peer autosell via the normal traders-window on my big yard. Anyone who's passing may look at my offers and trade if fancy for the price.

As always, I will put my /signed on any housing improvement thread. I come from SWG, and I know the housing will never get as good as that, I can hope for better/ more storage/ more places to put my "stuff". I love the idea of the stables too.

THAT is a great idea!
This would actually bring players into the housing areas, running around and checking the "home stores". I see some hooks and problems, but the idea is great.

I have been waiting for housing improvements for a very long time.

A lot of housing items are so tiny they shouldn't even take up a small hook. You get all this wall/floor/garden space and you are confined to only placing a mere couple of things. There are so many housing items but when you save up for that large wall item and it turns out to be the size of your characters head...it is well disappointing.

I think the smallest change that could be made, would be to increase the amount of hooks, there is more than enough room and would make a world of difference.

Two large garden hooks in a deluxe house is not enough ;( With the beautiful swan fountain and the event windmill....Thorogs skull (doesnt belong on a large hook imo) Lothlorien candle, Hammock....too many to choose and can only use 2 at a time

The stable idea was awesome. I have many horses that I love but don't ride that often and it would be really nice to go home and go out to the backyard (on a side note, let's add some houses that have more acreage - I'd pay more money for more land!) and see all my horses chillin back there. That'd be awesome.

I like the idea of a larger Kin house. I would like to see the ability to give control of a room to a member. So the grand rooms and passageways etc are still controlled by officers that room is 'mine' to furnish and use chest.

I would pay upkeep like a house on it but a split of amount goes to Kin castle upkeep account.

This would allow kin to be together when there are no avail housing is same area as kin house. Could also have rooms, suites, floors within the kin castle

I have to say I strongly agree that housing gets reworked however we have been asking for it since day 2 maybe :0)
and it has not yet come to pass. Maybe we will see it, then again maybe Korea will make peace and become a theme park..

Mostly wishing for SWG-like placement of objects instead of the hooks system.

Still wishing guild halls could place superior crafting stations.

Guild Halls should have storage space significantly increased and nearby vault & auctioneer access.

Like the stables idea and the merchant tent in yard idea too!

i just wanted to say that i also wants that you can buy working desks.

That would be really awesome... with a rohan toon, that have 52 horses.... I would just love a house near or in Rohan... and a field where all my horses could stay, when they are not with me.
Maybe an option to own a house one of the existing homesteads, and one in the area, that belong to your herritage tittle?

And ofc. the house decoration - some ppl can make magic wonders with houses - but more options would be great. In furnitures, hooks - all of it... and more items... i mean, where is the kitchen and the bathroom? (I have a kinnie that deserve toilet duty sometimes) - and shouldnt woodworkers be able to build a stable?

Signed! I would like to have better uses for my house. Like the ability to purchase a crafting station of my choice with TP. It would make it easy to store my materials in my house and use them at my convenience. Beds should be a source of logging out that can produce a small boost when you log back on. Something like XP,Might,Morale,or Power. It doesn't have to be significant or long lasting,but it would be cool.

They will never allow crafting of any kind in houses...
Turbine has already said that many times they want activity in the cities.
Gives the fake image of a growing vibrant game community.

As for any other house improvements been asked for many times the past 4 years the answer is
