Best use of +100% xp boost?

With the Welcome Home Weekend xp bonus in effect, I am planning on leveling an alt from 65 to 75.

How best to do it? Skirmishes? PvE combat? Questing? For the latter two, should I do it below, on or above level?

I have about two hours a day, going for max xp/time (of course).

I am guessing questing is the route, and then guessing lower level questing is better as you get to quest turn ins faster. But not sure.

Generic answers are best for thread value, but for the record, L65 Minstrel who capped at Mirkwood and hasn't done any zones after that.

    Thanks!

I would say do a bunch of quests in an area, but do not turn them in! Then use your boost xp and go turn in! As long as there not to far away you wont waste the time limit!

I just re-read the email announcement, and it is actually just +100% on monster kill xp. So probably on-level questing is the best use of this promo.

Be aware that in your level range the largest part of your XP comes from quest and not kills.
The 100% XP is still nice but don't expect to suddenly power level.

I saw just go to Dunland and start questing there. The majority of the quests are Kill X something quests anyway.
Levelling between 65 and 75 is fast and smooth for the most part, so just enjoy the ride.

To really benefit from the 100%, start a new character. The extra XP from mob kills really shows at the lower levels.

Skirmishes, best be set one or two level above you but not above Tier1.

Attacktypes are the best since you can avoid npcs to steal your XP and "stand around waiting".
Skirmish Monsters have lower hitpoints than same level landscape monsters and come in packs, AOE + friendly

Attack at dawn / thievery and mischief / hobbitthing are the ones i personally prefer.

Depending on bonus XP (blue bar), and other stacking XP bonus (isengard preorder rune +25%), or additional +20% for 3 hours from the shop (95tp?). You end up around ~30.000 xp at lvl 24 for ONE skirmish ~ (that's almost a whole level) and well above 100k in higher levels around lvl50.
That's for like 11? Minutes relaxed mob smashing.

Can't say for lvl65+ but apparently getting a few thousand xp per kill should outstand running and 10 - 15k xp reward for a quest with killing a few things. (If i'm not mistaken you kill around atleast 60 monster in one skirmish)

Not really. If you have rest XP you get a lot. I was doing level 65 quests in Dunland. The quests gave about 11k each. Each mob kill was a little over 1100xp.

Re: Best use of +100% xp boost?

at 53 with the +100% bonus , my +25% pocket item, and a xp bonus item I got from a lottery 1 skirmish is 33% of a level. At 65+ I would suspect it would at least 6 skirms to a level even with that bonus. So, I would just quest like normal unless you need the medalions. Plus, you will complete the deeds and get virtues that you may need doing the quests as well. Beware leveling too fast if you don't complete your virtues while leveling you will have to after 75. while I am not sure if it matters as much to tanking classes, virtues are the best source of mitigations for others. In fact, on a hunter its the difference between being a chump and champ. Point is you will be doing the quests anyway so getting the virtues will not add time after 75 before you can be effect.

WARNING: leveling a warden may cause you to neglect your other characters.
