...The anniversary beer brawl in Thorin's Hall has more balanced PvP than the Ettenmoors.



Before anyone gets upset, no this isn't taking a dig at the developers or even lotro in general. Just a funny (And somewhat true) anecdote I thought of while smashing freeps in the arena.


If anyone else has some clever anecdotes please post them!

You know Ettenmoors PvMP is bad when anybody can pay $0.10 USD to be able to jump off cliffs and not break their legs.

... when a keep tyrant goes from full health to dead in the time it takes me to climb the stairs.

You know it's bad when you exit Gramsfoot's North Gate and never look back.


Five years now... and its coding still BLOWS CHUNKS.

June 2012... the PvP revelation will go retail... that's my guess. Just hold out until then Creepsies.

...People are starting to PvP against each other more on the forums than they do in-game...

When you map into Orc Camp and it's empty, you look up and theres a Warden on the platform with the entire camp on him and you still can't kill him!

I agree, and that hits spiders and wargs the hardest, who will tend their wounds when there's no more vets around?

...when you had more fun in 3 days of Beta than you have in the past year in the moors.

You see a 2 seperate raids of freeps (24-man and a 6-man) riding over to zerg OC, which only has two creeps in it.

When you log into the Moors on your Freep and immediately are struck with sharp pain in the brain having realized too late you just logged GODMODE INTO THE MOORS and it will be watching-grass-grow boring if you continue to PvP on ~GODMODE. Instead, you log into your Creep only to be struck once in the forehead by what feels like a shovel but in fact is merely reality telling you to log your Creep out and go play another game which has earned your money and personal time with truthful and entertaining coding.

Oh yeah..absolutly true

A Defiler with no chance of losing against a Guard, Warden, Captain. Or a Warg destroying every Hunter in his path without blowing any CD, or a Spider wrecking havoc upon physical classes

We all agree that the most OP classes are on Freepside..however, you clearly don´t understand that there are also Creep Classes that are clearly in a good shape and Freep Classes that need buffs desperatly

Stalkers,BA, even Weavers do significant more dmg than a Reaver , a melee DD, who is now a really bad Tank.

That happens to me many times
Guess it's because of many people shifting to the big three for better pvp

When vet creeps Just Don't Care any more.

..You poke a Runekeeper with a stick and get lightning bolts in return.

...When you are under attack by your own NPCs.

Or when you decide to fight the freeps and then have your own npcs attack the nearest warg. It seems to happen often for my warg packs.

When you reach TA and find a note from the Tyrant that reads, "Quitting until open beta for _____________ comes out."

....a sheild warden enters a keep, and the creep npcs just leave and give up the flag.

You Know Ettenmoors PvMP is Bad When...

you enjoy sitting with freeps, and watching them camp the rez ...

Or when you decide to actually put up a fight against the freeps just to have your own npcs turn against you. This happens rather often for my warg pack.

You know PvP is bad when PvE people try to play in a PvP zone...

You know PvP is bad when an under-populated side that starts to win... suddenly becomes an over-populated side with nothing to fight in less than 2 minutes...

OP only really comes in numbers. Not class.

You know its bad when...


..U hear freeps try and talk down how OP they are, and say a weaver does "good damage"..:PPP

..U see unranked/under-geared LM's hitting for 6k

..U see a warden tank the entire keep, so the other 6-7 can zerg your butt!, you dont release so u get credit for the wardens death, only to realize that he has survived with no external heals..

..U see hunters exploiting on pillars so they dont die, then read a post about how they have it so bad..

..U prefer the PvE grind to even thinking about loggin onto your creep!

Says the OP mini.....Ideas have been suggested but the devs pretty much ignore them. So its best to make light of it since its a joke.
