    What to do?

Hi all, i just need an advice.. I'm about to stop playing this game for a reason? The first reason is i'm ina bit trouble, i just purchased evendim quest when i was in mid 27 or 30..

I just completed all quest in evendim except tht one in annuminas, it drives me crazy!!! I'm in lvl 37 nearly 38 my morale is 2120 power 1104?

champiion!! is it GOOD? Is it a good way to try it? I see lots of player who has less morale than me and they are in lvl 44 or something!!!

But the good thing is they are ina kinship!!!

The second one is the angmarims are very hard to **** with, seriously how the **** can u kill 4 GROUPS of them, its impossible unless you have orchalwe with u!! But thts a bit unsure cuz he dont kill faster, they kill us both faster than we kill one or two of them..

Ok i get u guys if u reach a certain lvl, say lvl 30 or 40 it wont get easy But why the **** are they in groups? ok if they where 1 or 2?

I read somewhere tht if u done quest in evendim and completed it be sure to get the **** out of there?!?! Cuz in annuminas is the thoughest quest i've been on... so far So far i stopped at ''monuments of angmar'', thts so so seriously HARD!

I miss tarkrips orchs and i miss bree I want to complete this one but i decide to not do tht! Instead i want to buy nothdowns questpack!! Is it a good way?

    Re: What to do?

Annuminas is best questing in a Fellowship, or small group of 3 players.

It is designed to be a tough fight and to encourage grouping

As you say you are level 37, buying Northdowns might be a bit of a waste right now.
North Downs is level 20 - 40. And this also has a grouped area fight at level 37+ (Dol Dinen)

    You could invest in Trollshaws (34 - 44), Misty Mountains (37 - 50+) or Angmar (38 - 50+)

But as a suggestion you could try the Path of the Fellowship Pack....

You could do Trollshaws then purchase Eregion (45+) which would set you on your path to your Legendary Items

    Re: What to do?

I don't know how wise that would be. Most of the higher end of North Downs are also Fellow/Small Fellowship quests.

If you were going to make a purchase, I'd second the Path of the Fellowship recommendation. Trollshallows has some quests that would help you, but not enough to be recommended as a stand alone purchase. However, Eregion, Moria and Lothlorien have more than enough quests to get you from 45 to low/mid 60's, so just think of Trollshallows as a mediocre icing on a cake of awesomeness.

Alternatively, you could grind in Skirms. Have you been keeping your Soldier's abilities up to date? If not, now could be the time to do it. Since, there are Skirms you have to complete to advance the Epic quest in Moria and Mirkwood.

    Re: What to do?

Have you tried reaching out in the LFF chat channel? I know my first time through on my RK I did that and had someone help me through the quest. Now when I'm in the area I use my Warden to try and help others if I can. There's a reason it's a 'multi-player' game. Sometimes.... well, you need more than one player

    Re: What to do?

I did the Angmar quests in Evendim on level with my RK. I just had to skip the instances.

Whatever you do, do NOT get Angmar if you play alone. Angmar has too much group content. From Evendim I went to Trollshaws, but as a previous poster said, that would not tide you over. I got Misty Mountains and levelled from there. Getting the path of the fellowship quests is a great suggestion. Much you can do alone, or with someone on the same quests you may meet while you're out there saving Middle Earth.

However I would not recommend buying a zone below your level. It will yield nothing to you (poor rewards, no XP, etc.).

    Re: What to do?

Don't feel discouraged. Annuminas is one of the hardest on-level landscape areas in the game. For all practical purposes it is not meant to be run solo. I expect it might be a blast with a group, but I've never felt like trying to put one together.

There has always been a slight hole in the leveling process after Evendim and before Angmar/Forochel, especially for soloers. The usual recommendation is to run through the Epic quest-line as much as you can and do some skirms. There are some quests in Trollshaws that will be on-level, but it's not worth buying just for those. I don't think you'd get much from the last quests in the North Downs to make that very useful either. There is one quest line in Evendim that you may have missed though. It actually starts with Aragorn in Rivendell. It's a pretty long quest-chain and is well worth completing. It's really a mini-epic of it's own. It does end in an instance that requires a fellowship though.

It's possible that the North Downs are getting a revamp soon. Fornost is currently closed for renovation and that's an instance in the zone, so some are hoping the entire zone is getting a revamp. It could just be Fornost though, so I certainly wouldn't buy the zone yet.

A fellowship quest is a more difficult quest that is designed for a group of players instead of a solo player. You are expected to team up with other players to complete the quest.

Most of the enemies in Annuminas are more dangerous than normal enemies, and it is expected that you find other players to team up with you to defeat them.

It can still yield a fun game, though, which seems like what the OP is wanting. North Downs has a lot of good content, it's simply that a lot of it is for levels below 37. That means it's not the most cost effective if what you're looking to do is advance on to something else. It won't advance you as far as some of the other regions you could buy, since below-level quests offer less XP. ("No XP" is an exaggeration, though. Quests offer some XP regardless of level. The amount just decreases if you're higher level than the quest is.)

The best solution for Annuminas, though, is to find some people to group with. If you can get a group together, even a small group, that content should become a lot more feasible, removing the frustration of having that one area you weren't able to do. And if you're lucky, you'll like the people you end up grouping with and make some friends that way. By the way, are you on Arkenstone by any chance? I'm busy with anniversary festival stuff right now, but once the festival ends, my Ceolrath character is in that area, and will be looking for someone to do Annuminas quests with.

Oh yeah, I think I missed that one. Thanks.
