Re: Server advice
Best server?
Whichever one you choose.
Why?
Because you'll be on it.

give us more information? Do you want a full server or a more quiet server, do you want to roleplay or not? Do you want an active PvMP or not?

Re: Server advice
PvMP is LotRO's PvP (Player versus Player) system where groups of players can fight each other in a seperate PvP zone instead of fighting the normal computer-controlled monsters in the regular game world. The MP stands for Monster Player because one side gets to play as the monsters...orcs, spiders, etc.
Roleplay is where the player makes up a story for their character's background and plays their character, through chat and emotes, as if the character were really in Middle-earth as a real person. Instead of it just being about playing a game they instead are Playing a Role.New Player? Re: Server advice
Does PvMP cost any Turbine Points or do you have to have membership to play PvMP?

Re: Server advice
Depends.
If you want to play on the good guy side using your regular PvE characters then you have to be VIP. This might be available later on to free players at the next expansion but for now VIP only.
However, if you want to play as a monster then you can play the Reaver (basic melee warrior) class for free and all the other monster classes can be unlocked with TP (VIP get all monster classes free).
So, if you wanna see what PvMP is like without any commitment then just create a Reaver and try it out. If you like it enough to pay TP or VIP $ then you can go on from there.New Player?
