Thread: for deconstructing.. best xp to relic yield?

Given that my goal is to improve my relics. Would it be worthwhile to level my throw away LI's beyond 31?
I've been breaking them at 31 to build up a pool of good major/minor scrolls but I'm finding I have plenty of those.
I don't think it would be a good idea to stop before 31. Finding enough third ages to sustain that strategy would
be difficult.

One more question. Are the relic removal scrolls on sale in the LOTRO store worth the price? I have some tier 6 relics at stake and based on my experience when Moria and Mirkwood were new I would say yes, absolutely. Tier 6's are worth saving at almost any price. But things have changed alot since then and I'm not familiar, yet, with how easy/hard it is to grind relics now.

Are you ''high level''? The thing I do sometimes is go solo/duo STH... Around 700ixp more 20 if not more T4 relics Even if divide per 2 or even 3 is a good amount

So I levle to 60 and then I deco.

95% of my Deco LIs I am leveling to lvl 60 because I have come to the point where I do not need that much legacies that fast so I am doing it for the item XP runes and relics.

As far as relics go... Relic removal scrolls are my most often buy because on my LIs I got relics that have cost me a lot of time, gold and sometimes real money.
I am removing relics only if I got either high tier relics which are hard to get, if I used high tier relics to get even better (Great River relics for instance) and/or if I bought the relics from store.

I think to answer your first questions it dependes on you. Lvling to DK your LI's @ 31 is a good way to rapidly increase your relic pool. However the drawback is you wont have alot of higher tier relics to play with. For example. i did a bit of a study to see if DK could yield anything higher then T4 relics. And yes, if you lvl them to 60. I've gotten quite a bit of T5's and others across the board. Because i have an extensive store of xp runes (blue pills) i use the new pill to power lvl the next LI for DK. Of course, the drawback is lvling to 60 will take longer than 31. Since U6, the Relic combining proccess has improved ,so your relic pool should grow alot faster.

When DK'ing my main LI for an upgrade you bet the removal scroll was a good buy. I took both my lvl 65 main weapon and belt's relics with those to transfer to my lvl75 reforged belt and sword. For what? 295TP? I think it was worth it.
