Umm so I just saw a never-seen-before-bug in draigoch which happened to me. We had just killed the dragon, and were waiting for the last intro to finish to get our hands to the loot...suddenly my char fell through the floor into a black hole. All I could see was black all around me. After a while my char left the raid automatically and the best part comes: I were taken to Thorin's Gate, The Refuge of Edhelion! Well I was very confused and told all the details to my raid companions and they found it hard to believe. Next I thought to rejoin the raid to loot the chest next to Draigoch, but I couldnt see the instance panel anywhere.
Well...told the raid leader to reinvite and see if it works but when I left, I was ported to the same spot (Bree-town) where I entered the instance first time.
This bug actually made no harm for me in any ways but just found it so rare and funny so decided to post it here if someone has seen the same before or even if LotRo-team would know what caused this.

If any of you have seen or experienced the same glitch/bug before, please let us know because if this happens often, it may cause harm for some people.
Missing alert panel button for instance join happens frequently, we simply leave and rejoin the raid to get it back, the rest is certainly peculiar though.

don't believe I've had it to me personally exactly like that (you'd think I'd remember, but I've been in some strange places ) but have had raid members have similar experiences. not necessarily to Thorin's Gate. usually it happens when a chest spawns where they happen to be standing and pushes them off the map. sometimes to a place above or below the raid (I think I did actually have this happen once in a Dannenglor skirmish raid, but it didn't port me elsewhere, I just got pushed under the instance map and could see the architecture above me. once had a kinnie get tossed up on top of the big spinny chandelier thing in fire/frost boss room in orthanc, we could target and wave to him, etc), once or twice they did get ported to the Shire or someplace. The latter, like your instance, seems to be part of the way the game works if it somehow loses track of your physical location in the game world and doesn't know where to place you - it will toss you into a starter area (Edhelion, Little Delving, Archet, etc).
I was doing the Breaching The Necromancers Gate skirmish. After killing the final boss, I ran down to where the chest was. When the chest spawned I was moved to inside a nearby wall. I couldn't get out. Eventually the instance timed out. No loot that day :-(
I've heard about people being kicked out of the Draigoch raid like you describe but I doubt it is a Draigoch-specific bug.
Something very similar happened to me a year ago in the Ost Elendil instance: I was running to open a window when I started falling down and landed in the Thorin's gate.
I had similiar issue in Galtrev crafting hall. I started falling in black void. I saw only NPCs flying up up and awaaaay. When they were tiny I teleported back near ground level and started falling again. And crashed . I was out of any group or raid.
Never done that one, I have ended up inside one of the falling rocks, couldn't get out and all the other couldn't target me but I could target them - just sat in there and rolled for loot.
This happens a lot, i personally bugged 4 different entrances to Instanced Archet, that happens because you managed to get to archet while you'r inside an instance level. i'm gonna share here 1 video that i believe it breaks no rules since i've been told the bug was fixed and i personally checked that it's indeed Fixed.
Sidenote: there was a bug in barrows that was porting you to the same exact place but not in "instanced" mode, so you had a free port, also bugged and fixed.
