I was thinking about making a Raidcall channel for the creeps of Riddermark counter the spies that seem to roam around in OOC much more than they used to. Of course, there would have to be certain rules along with the RC channel such as:
1. Must be above r2 to enter
2. May not bring those who are freeping into the RC channel (sorry guys).
3. Cannot sit in the channel idle.
I was wondering how many of you think this is a good idea, and how many of you would actually participate if I made a channel. All feedback is appreciated!

To be honest, creep ooc is fine. Even on the occasion that there is someone spying, we generally give factual as well as falsified information in ooc and that isn't counting the bad intel that is often posted in ooc. It makes spying through creep ooc rather ineffective.

True, but the last couple of days, me and a few others have noticed strange behaviour, (ie greenie reavers hanging about in the same place, never seen fighring), plus other strange events. And a few days last week, some freeps were always at the right place at the right time the whole day.....that can't be coincidental if it happens more than once in one day.

well it can be coincidental and most of the time is. Instead of being mad at the spies use them to your advantage like aza does and lure them to where you want them to be. The worst part of the moors is trying to find people to kill, so why not bring em where you want them to be.
True, true. But what about when a few creeps announce they are forming a raid to take back, say Lugz, then the moment we get there about 5-6 freeps show up.....most of us were wargs in stealth, and no freeps were around so.....kind of odd to me.
But then again like you say, it could be coincidence and some other stealthed person could have very well seen the non-stealthed members of our group. The coincidences have just been seeming to happen a lot lately.
Use it to your advantage. Next time for example, you can make a call for LC but then go for Isen. You could also make a call out for lugz and then wait with a wargpack outside of lugz in order to kill the freeps that start running in.

Even if it does happen, the most useful information a spy could get is by looking at non-anon creeps to see where they are.
Also, as Creepie said, it can be used to ones advantage. A lot of good ambushes have been set by letting freeps know where we were.

Could just send tells to people you know. Or lie about what the plan is. Most people who will join a group will join regardless of what you are doing. Say an OP or I dunno, Goldie. Hell, just "Raid for zerging freeps" would probably work, heh. You'd likely still get members, then you could just run off and ninja your keep of choice. Generally, they will be happy to do any of the quests, especially if it involved having a rez.

I see right thru you buster!!
Aza WANTS you to use OOC so he can coordinate a counter strike from freepside.....
but this is really just a SMOKE screen to hide his cunning plan to ambush those freeps forces when they show.....
which it is a PERFECT opportunity to lure those creeps out and gank the hell out of them.....
which is PLAYING right into the hands of the creeps that will be waiting those ganking freeps out.....
then the creeps can finally crush the freeps with a calculated zerg strike that will leaving them smarting!!
......or so the freeps want the CREEPS to think, because they have a little surprise in store for them!!
......and right when they least expect it......
......ummmmm ok hang on a sec, I'm confused, which side will Aza be starting from again ?? :O
saw someone commented after U10 spiders were OP as Fk
man I laughed so hard I wet myself and tears streamed down my face
I pondered, obviously they don't play a spider main.
I'd love to, but I never play in the Ettens anymore. Maybe when I get my toons to the lvl cap...
Even then, I'd probably spend my time in the KS RC...
Hope to see you around, man.
Yea, Im back, for now . The obligation (lets just call it that) that I thought would take a month or 2 only took about a week and a half, so i was back much sooner than i expected

Awesome. Welcome back!
Riddermark toons:
Hafwit - 29 Dwarf Minstrel, Riddermark, Legends of Numenor
Lothreth - 15 Female Captain, Riddermark, Area Fifty-One
It would never work. Word will always get out somehow. Not to mention limiting it to r2 or above wouldn't be very effective. Ranking up early is quick and easy.
Plus, what Aza has said.
Just keep the specifics within the group and make sure everyone in group is anon, if it's a concern. If you find yourself being stalked by possible spies, that's what makes maps and false information in OOC great.
Rubi, Chef and I often found ourselves being followed all over the place by newbie creeps looking to get infamy, particularly right after the game went F2P. It became kind of frustrating because we weren't looking to lead around a zerg. Map. *poof* Problem solved.
