The lonely mountain?
I'm assuming I am correct, so here it is.
This is my first time, so I hope it's not too bad.
"Fakenn tin horse"
I tried fakenn with the meaning of fake.

Nice one!
I have the answer, but I will wait and let someone else puzzle this one out.

You got it.
This is tough, mind if you give us a hint?

Its rather 'old testament' and involves a very prominent ancestor.
Guess it needs an easier clue
It involves a person and an event.
I got pretty close, but keep coming out with an extra O. Sure you got the anagram right?

Yikes! I do have an extra O
I guess it should have been Fortunado in flat hen of god lol
Betting you have it then....
I'll answer with another anagram of the same thing... this time the bits in parentheses are still anagrammed, but in the order of the solution:
(ROTUNDA) (TO HALF ELF) (NOODLING).
I won't grab credit for the solution, since I cheated by writing an anagram program.

Close enough, since I think he ended up down an O... For some reason the O count was throwing us both...
It was "Of Tuor and the Fall of Gondolin"

Ah, sorry I forgot about this!
It's been so long I'll just give this: It's a name for Gondolin.
I also realised I've put too many "L"s in. It should be DOOM BAL THING.
Sorry everyone

Did you mean Gondothlimbar(City of the Dwellers in Stone). It was all I could find, but that would mean you forgot the "r".

I did mean that. So I swapped an "r" for an "l". Terrible effort on my part.
Bonus points for getting the answer despite the question being completely wrong!

You encounter it fairly early in book one.
And it's three words.

I don't mean to come across as facetious here Book one in the LotRO epic book sense, or book one as in the actual LotR sense?

Sharp eye. Book one as in the actual First-half-of-Fellowship Book sense. I got rather used to referring to things as in books 1-6 in college as a means of breaking things down in to slightly more manageable chunks! However I wasn't playing LOTRO then and it might have been a tad more confusing if I was.

Thanks.
For those that may be unfamiliar with how the professor organized Lotr, here is how it was done:
Fellowship of the Ring
Books 1 and 2
The Two Towers
Books 3 and 4
The Return of the King
Books 5 and 6

Do we need another clue?
You'll encounter this particular phrase in the books though not technically in the text.
Also it's an event of sorts "perpetrated" by hobbits.
