I wasn't sure exactly which area to post in so I figured I'd start here.
Today I crafted a level 75 Third Age dagger and one of the new level 75 Great River daggers. I maxed out the damage on the crafted Third Age and got it up to 104.1 DPS. Then I noticed that my new offhand dagger had a DPS of 128.1.
Does this seem a bit odd to anyone else? Shouldn't the top level crafted Third Age be more? It is legendary after all...
Thoughts?
The Crimson Burglar Squad - First you see Red...Then you are dead.
Well, if the off-hand dagger was a crit I could perhaps see it. The LI will still provide significant bonuses via legacies, especially if you slot relics, but that number does seem a bit low. Of course the 2nd and 1st age LIs at L75 would probably be much better.
Yes, this can happen. Legendary weapons - especially 3rd age - can have less dps then crafted weapons.
I also noticed this difference when it comes to 2nd vs 3rd age.
Compared with the level 75 2nd age sword the level 85 3rd age sword only had a few dps more. I think 3rd age weapons are supposed to be weak compared to other weapons.
Also back at level ~50 the crafted "standard" weapons are stronger than the 3rd agers.
