Thread: Is the PvMP Vigilance set WAI? (Orion and player input requested!)

I do not have this complete set yet, and it won't really affect whether I finish getting it or not, but I wanted to know if this was WAI. I have two questions directed at two groups of people. To preface my question I am referring to the 5-set bonus of this set which "Applies a 25% Movement Reduction and 10% attack duration increase to target when using Fierce Resolve, Resolution, or Desolation".

Orion/Developers: Is this set supposed to affect Desolation instead of Exultation of Battle? It's quite obvious Desolation is out of place and does not follow the pattern of Fierce Resolve and Resolution. This third 5-length Gambit should be EoB not Desolation. It's out of place in gambit builders, the effects of what it does, hits less targets, and it cannot be used at the same range that the other two can (in addition to just being frontal whereas the other two are 360).

Anyone who actually has this set: Is this just a typo or does it really affect Desolation? Is EoB affected in addition despite not being listed? What Gambits exactly are affected by this set bonus?

desolation gets the desired affect but there is something of about it not aplying on creeps 100% of the time (no resist or immune) shows up and creep still doesnt get it, this is on all 3 skills that have this affect. its like the aoe desides that they are out of range or something
they get the dots but not the slow.
or maybe all creeps drink the now not bugged (I hope) anti slow potion

eob does not get the slow effect
also the 3 set bonus fist dmg over time does not seem to be working have bugged it, kinda hard to test it as you have to have tactical or physical mastery? pretty much the same with or without the set bonus to make a good reading.

I am 98% sure that its not working on the ones I looked at desolation sod eob fierce resolve

I wouldnt want the slow changed to eob from desolation though

Thank you for the quick reply. I can't be sure how I feel about the error, but all I am sure of is that it definitely looks like an error. Without finishing the set myself I can't say which way I would prefer, but I can see how it would be nice if it were on Desolation.

I think the idea is that Desolation actually has some use in PvMP, since of course Fear does not work on creeps
