Thread: Costly anniversary Goof

There is one server I just play with a friend, thought I would take a moment and do the anniversary with that character, He's just level 9, and I selected the Explorer Quest from Gandolf, and bought the the Fire works needed for the quest, (something I really couldn't afford was over half my silver), then I started running and it was then I noticed . . "Gulp" its a lvl 30 quest .. okay okay lets just do it anyways me thinks . . I can get some stable dudes discovered for this guy.
okay I get to the last 2, I could have sworn I read the north gate, and I went to the north gate in Bree and launched . . hmm no update . . must be a bug . . off to Lone-lands I go, .. "Phew" dodge a few close calls there, got to the top . launch . .yay . . hmmm still no update .. okay just to complete this I'll purchase another fireworks, so I hit my milestone thingy (which is Thorins Hall) Swift travel back to Bree, purchase another fireworks , dash back to that north gate . . nothing . .hmm, reread the quest . . oh I had misread the first time . . so toggle map .. hmm don't see it . right click map ..hmm right click again . . "Oh #2" .. I gotta run through Lonelands again, and beyond . . okay it won't be too long I did add discovered that one stable guy .. I'll just rent me a ride. I get to the south gate Stable and discovered I'll need to pay 5 silver . . okay okay lets get this over with, just pay the man . . then it was on foot again . . On my way to Rivendale . . as soon as I zone into Trollshaw . . I get a pop-up stating I'm entering into danger, the creatures here are much higher level then . .*Bam Bam* LOL I didn't have a chance to finish reading and was already under attack .. "Run forest run" came to mind and I'm a running . . I get to mid way there is a stable guy . . lets get them discovered , just as I click on him outta no where I'm being attacked again .. I died, okay so much for getting Undying .
I chose to revive there . but guess where I end up ??? The spot where you start your new character in as a elf or Dwarf, yup it was none other then Ered Luin , where you first have to meet your trainer and all that . . totally on the opposite side of the world . . I was not a happy camper took me too long .. and over 50 silver for what . . For what ??? . . oh Yeah . . a lesson learned LOL. . need to read what level before accepting . . spendy lil goof
