Logged in today to find four out of the supposed five giftboxes awaiting me in my inventory, and also to find that the stuttering that's been destroying my experience with the game since RoI hasn't even been reduced, much less fixed.
Edit: Restarting the game made the 5-year giftbox show up, which is great, but the damn stuttering is going to make sure I never become fully interested in playing this ever again. This is depressing.

The issue addressed with 6.1 regarding the suttering was introduced in Update 6. If you have been experiencing an issue since the Rise of Isengard relesae, this is a different issue. I suggestyou file a bug report and clearly state the issue and when/how it occurs.

Log out and log back in, perhaps you will get your additional boxes.
Also, the stuttering that is reported to be fixed in this update only applies to the stuttering that appeared in Update 6, not Rise of Isengard release. The problems with the RoI release were mostly due to massive populations in the new zones.

I don't mean to be argumentative, but if you've experienced "no lagging at all" how could it have "gotten better"?
I think this is the key issue here people. Many players don't care/notice when they hitch/stutter/lag.
It's why this issue is mostly talked about/reported from a> End game instances and b> the moors.
This is where players who are affected by a slight stutter. This is where it matters to gameplay. And if I had to guess, this is why a lot of people (including developers) don't experience it.

Sapience, how about putting a link to the bug report in your signature. No offence, but it would seem more pertinent than some of the other things taking space there. In the last lag thread, lots of people said they didn't even know how to go about doing it. It's ok saying 'report it as a bug', but if you really want reports, at least make it as obvious as possible for people.

Kinnies experienced lag before RoI and with every update they've had reduced lag to the same experience I have now - no lags.

Celestrata - Surprise, it's not a glitch!

There's a sticky on reporting bugs at the very top of this very forum. If people aren't noticing it and taking a few moments to read it then I doubt they'll bother with a sig link. Just my unsolicited two cents garnered from my personal experience on other forums.
First, stablemaster mounts recover more gracefully if they are interrupted for any reason.
Second, my character no longer freezes in place momentarily when approaching quest givers with a ring icon over their heads.
I still have the occasional rubberbanding, long freezes, and combat unresponsiveness that are "normal" on Brandywine, but I've gotten used to those over the years.

The most value is by reporting it using /bug in game. That time stamps it, puts your location and other information in addition to what you enter. Always use the in game tool to report a bug as it provides the best information to the team.
As you can see from the comments thus far, there is some debate as to what this lag is or isn't. So I'm going to close this thread as "lag since ROI" isn't the lag we were discussing in the previous thread. That lag was clearly traced to Update 6. So again, lag isn't nearly as clear cut as some may wish or think.
Please refer to this thread if you have a report of the POST UPDATE 6 ISSUES ONLY.
