Thread: Best place to farm mobs that drop tier 3 mats?

I don't know if just hitting nodes would be better if the only thing I wanted to do with my time was getting the mats, but I also want to increment slayer deeds and get other things that drop from humanoid and undead mobs.

T3 mats are simple to farm from vases in Iorvina in LL

Farming mobs seems to be the best way now to get scholar mats and and jeweler gems. I spent a half hour of farming for t2 iron/silver nodes and only got about 50 silver ore and 11 gems. That would get me about 100 points. After that I killed maybe 10 mobs. In those few mob kills that took 2-3 minutes, I got 15 gems. Almost 200 gems in less than an hour and almost a full stack of each type of t2 scholar mat (cryptic texts & ruined second age trinkets).

Like the poster above said, that cave is a good spot. Lots of mobs to kill down there as well for mats.

Edit: It seems wights tend to drop more scholar mats and jeweler, not sure where to find ones that drop T3. I'm pretty sure the ones around Nan Dhelu drop T4.
