    Lotro client has stopped working

    Greetings. It`s been about 6 months since I last played, and today I decided to patch up and give it another go. Every time i run the launcher it will crash right after having selected which server to play on, and the "lotro client has stopped working" error box appears. This happened from time to time when I last played too, but now it seems to happen every single time.

    7. In there under the Repair tab click to enable the Reset game display settings option and click ok
    At this point finish logging in and you'll get prompted to 'are you sure you want to reset?' and choose yes on that and then you'll most likely get prompted to enable DX10 mode but choose no on that one so you can test launching in DX9 mode first.
