If you keyturn, you're bad. Freaking bottom feeder bad. Reading these posts, I see nothing but scrubs who think so highly of themselves yet they turn their goddamned keyboards. I'm sure a few of these players know somewhat basic rotations and counters, maybe they're not mouth breathers and they have some situational awareness too. But when you're movement is trash, you're trash. Mouse turning doesn't make you pro, the combination of movement, reaction time, and good theorycrafting does.

Furthermore, there is always room for improvement. I used to think I mastered the Captain class by Moria. As time went on, I realized how foolish that was, even in such a simple game like LotRO. I messed with builds, swapped gear, analyzed what I did wrong so that I could get it right. This is what separates me from scrubs like SSN, Evilsteveo, Shakavag, Loki84, and every other window licker on the server. All I've seen/see is people denying they need to improve when it is painfully obvious that they need work. I'm all for casuals being able to PvP, without noobs there can be no pros. But please, don't bother contributing to PvP boards with your glorious advice and opinion when you deny that mouse turning is an advantage. Claiming it is a disadvantage is blasphemy.

As I said before, you can mouse turn and still not be a good player, as it is not the only requirement. Players who blend movement, theorycraft, reaction time, etc, always are standouts. Yelk, Boosted, Isindar immediately come to mind for this server, though there is a couple more.

Also, with all these people going to GW2, and a good lot of them thinking they're going to bust into the E-Sport scene and miraculously become PvP legends after sitting in Raids in this game is l0l0l0l. I'll be sitting at the top and asking you scrubs how the weather is down there.
While I agree that keyboard turning gives you a significant and noticeable disadvantage depending on the class you play (for some classes, the difference is much greater), from the looks of things GW2 is actually going to be pretty forgiving as far as keyboard turning goes. Though there isn't any collision detection, you can't pass through your target. While that might inspire something like deselect-dodge forward-180-and-reselect, the advantages will be pretty small.

That said, the focus should be on positioning over movement. You might move quickly but back yourself up into a bad position. Situational awareness is really a key skill to have, and mouse turning gives you the advantage of seeing a wider field of vision faster.

When did this thread turn into an argument over mouse-turning and key-turning?
I thought it was about how difficult it is to play Freepside.

Morvathir 65 Guardian (Rank 7), Morcallor 65 Craptain (Rank 0.5), other toons unworthy of mention. Slavetothebum R4 Reaver, Bummagic R2, other toons unworthy of mention cause they have not done the rite of initiation.

    Re: Dear Freeps

I felt bad in u5 because freeps were truly OP. Now no matter what others say there is some ballance except maybe in RvR open-field where freeps still have an advantage. As Familiarity stated, that greenie you' ll meet stands no chance and that's the way it is supposed to be actually. I can't wait to see the day when everyone can hop on a r0 freaver and kill you. Other than that, it's up to you on whether you will take that greenie's life or not.
As for creeps calling freeps Ezmoding, I have a rank 7 warg on which I can kill most freeps (shadow stance) without any significant difficulty, and no matter what It doesn't seem right to quit my guard after 3 years due to some baddies QQing about dying with the excuse: EZMODE! To be honest with you Morv, just do what you feel like doing but in my opinion I think you will stick with your freep
As for keyturning/mouseturning: I think PVPLegend covered me perfectly.

Much love to ya all, I hate you and see you out there
