Durin's Folk Celebrates the LOTRO 5th Anniversary!

To commemorate the 5th Anniversary celebrations our kinship, Durin's Folk, will be giving out various gifts during the first day of the anniversary, Monday, April 16th! Please join our kinship in ringing in the fifth year of the game!

During the first day of the anniversary, we will be handing out a variety of gifts crafted by our kinship. This will be done on a random fashion to those players we see online during the first day of the anniversary. Please do not approach us with offers for the gifts as we wish to present them to whomever we see during the first day of the festivities. We love this game and wish to give something back to all the wonderful people that make coming back every day something special!

In addition, ten random players will each recieve a one gold gift from our kin to celebrate the anniversary of this wonderful game!

Here is to another five years and the next ten year anniversary!

Re: Durin's Folk Celebrates the LOTRO 5th Anniversary!

Well, I must say that the first night of the anniversary celebrations was quite crazy! I have not seen so many people in Bree at the same time! With the excitement of the opening of festival, it was rather difficult to get players to halt long to hand out gifts.

Many people were quite surprised by the gifts, others very confused, and allwere very thankful for the unforseen offerings. It was a great deal of fun handing out the gifts, and by the end of the first day of the festival, we managed to give out 8 gold and many items. Yet, we still had some gold and gifts to give away, so we returned to Bree the following night to finish the giveaway.

Cheers then to Crickhollow and hope that everyone is enjoying the anniversary!

    Sincerely,
    Durin's Folk

It certainly was fun, thank you to Durin's Folk for the gift to Celeth. I think my favorite part was seeing a bunch of level 75's taking a break from raiding Draig and ToO to run around after flying envelopes.
