compared to right after RoI action went down with 60-70%
EC hugging and Zerging seems to be the new way, yet we're still here playing, PvPing, no matter how many frustrations.. we're still being drawn into this PvMP.
Would be fun if creep & freep fights was just like they are in the movies, just nerf Aragorn so he cant solo 200orcs anymore then we could fight
20vs20 is what I want to see, but until they fix all this lag its close to impossible having 5vs5...
Tingur now the ec hugging on freep side can be fixed if there were never creeps there so it is both sides fault on that. Yes this lag in the moors is the worst i have seen in a long time and hope they can fix it because i hate fighting in keeps with it

Oh im not blaiming anyone, EC is a tool which is used to hug NPCs and survive. Same goes for OC, yes all this lag is extremely annoying.
Since Sapience closed the thread I cant quote him, but this is what he said:
"As we believe we have fixed this issue, and there is little to report on from any side until these changes go live we're going to close this thread. When we push Update 6.1 we'll keep a close eye out for new reports and address them in a new thread (as this will indicate we fixed part of the issue but not all of it) and will request new reports and feedback via that thread should the need arise. What is up with all this PvE?
I get that people push on keeps when there is nothing else to do, but when there are even numbers on both sides people still push on keeps >.<
I'd also like to mention that a freep raid disbanded yesterday after I told them I was logging on Tingur *Evil Grin*

Yeah, I would agree with the PvE thing. All I'm seeing lately are zergs, running up and down stab looking for lone creeps. Sad when the freep raid doesn't realize the creeps are in small groups and doesn't disband into smaller groups to match, instead of killing any action, then flipping keeps.
This is mostly me pointing my finger at Viceras and Spiderbyte, bc it's d--- annoying when there's little pushes back and forth at stab or wtab, then one leader calls for more creeps/freeps to "push them back" and all you do is wipe the entire place and make half the other side rage log cause they can't take a beating like that. Know your enemy before you push please.

Im always running solo unless there are many people on in my tribe and we feel like zerging Hedvik for not being with us *evil grin* or when there is no action besides EC hugging. Freeps hugging EC is a waste of time, saw 3 guards hiding in there from 4-6 low ranked creeps not so long ago -.-
I clashed with Valistar here the other day and we had a real good fight which did not turn in his favour :/ then right after that a hunter popped outa nowhere and chased me xD, I popped MT and kited him around a rock along with two wolves, when MT was over his CDs was up and it didnt end well for him :/ When another LM popped out after that my VT was up again (note: the LM was ungeared and therefore, an easy kill)
Those are the solo fights I want to see, not that I win, but that I catch someone who doesnt call for backup or blow CDs, much like 1v1s. (just have to mention a fight between Kerelas (the hunter toon) and me, where I won with 100hp and managed to auto attack rockwithers xD) Infamy for both!!!
You're a nice guy Swift, though you managed to tick me off one day when Davil charged OC and you couldnt die while you killed me multiple times, forgive me for corpsejumping you when you finaly died xD.
When it comes to getting zerged...im tha uruk, I ticked off DOTH & ICMP :P, only times im somewhat safe is when DoG's around on his BA
Im not going to blame people for grouping up, heck I cant even solo on my freep without getting zerged by wargs 24/7. Yes wargs are cute and fluffy, /pat Helaen, but still I take the usual route down from GV to EC and the few times I get past wargs or DoG, that Train comes with his devasting strike >.<. Its a fight for survival just to get to EC, from there I go up to TA-Lugz-Grams. Either with friends or solo, it never ends well anyways, camping grams can sometimes be a good thing cause it shows we are active and it draws creeps out.

Closest thing to action is when a veteran makes his return which starts the never ending good ol' days discussion xD. Man it can be annoying sometimes when you hear bout the goodies you've missed.

Or the creeps aren't in groups at all and/or the tiny little groups there are aren't talking, lol. Earlier on yesterday I had a 6 man group running around trying to get flanks on the freep half raid or so sized group that was out at the time and clearly working together. I tried to open it up to more creeps even though I hate leading greenie raids but no one anwered the call for invites, so whatever. 6 creeps was at least enough to get away from the durn lawn/bridge most of the time even if it wasn't enough to actually push much. But by the time I came back from dinner the only thing I got in /OOC when asking if there was any action/any groups was crickets or "pull back into TA, there's too many!" I don't enjoy soloing on the moors much (though I chased a few freeps on my reaver just for giggles before switching back to PvE), so I spent most of the evening leveling my warden instead.
What we are seeing is a predictable outcome of the way that Turbine implemented commendations. Turbine made two poor decisions here IMO. First, the made commendations bind to account across your creep and freep toons. This encourages people to flip back and forth constantly to farm comms. Second, they made the quests for flipping keeps award stupid amounts of commendations relative to other activities in game. In most areas of pvp play, they made commendation earnings equal half of the amount of renown that you receive. With keep flipping, however, they left it at 1:1; so I can join a freep raid, flip all the keeps, and earn 600 comms - then I can flip to creepside, join a raid, and do the same thing again. In a couple of hours, if I keep at it and am willing / able to organize raids, I can earn thousands of commendations. Of course, I would earn just as much if there was solid pvp play, but that is hard to organize, inconsistent, and not guaranteed. I am guaranteed my commendations from keep flipping.
You add these two factors together and you get a much higher level of raid-level (vs solo or small group) activity than was the case prior to U6, and you get tons of PvE in the Moors. People respond to how they are incented, and Turbine changed the rules on how you get rewarded in the Ettenmoors - this is the predictable result.
Another thing that is definitely hurting us is all the animosity out there on the same freaking side. PVP drama will never go away, but in-fighting on each side is not helping one damn bit.

Oh? Me and Spiderbyte ruin pvp? I'm pretty sure neither one of us make raids unless there is a raid out on the opposing side. Not to mention I know for a fact he and I have both been solo 80% of the time the past week. As for me making a group of friends whom I regularly play with... as said in a previous post, if the opposing side can't muster a force to combat a small group of 5-9 people. That is on yall. Not me. Step up, group up, or shut up.

Well to be honest, you cant go solo in the Moors anymore without getting zerged & ganked too.
I dont blame it on the leaders, but it works like this: Freeps kill Creeps on sight & Vice Versa. Raid Leaders could either say leave him be, which works 1% of the time OR do nothing and let nature has its own way.
PS: you're lucky who could take advantage of the new skins, one sigil aint enough

And hey! The good ol days really weren't all that good I realize now. LotRO's PVP has always been a lagfest when it came to large group fights. Remember the server line bugs, WL invincibility bug, ect..? In all the time I played, very rarely did the masses get together for any real objective/goal oriented pvp. It's always been a farmfest and seems like that's all it will ever be.
With that narrow perspective given, I still wish you all well and don't be mistaken by my commentary, you folks provided me with many, many hours of some really great amusement and for that I'm grateful.
Over the years I've run across some characters that will never be replaced when it came to entertainment value. Just to mention a few there was the Old Valistar, Kalib, Ootyfast, Nubbers, Vinner, Genbo & Aeons, Glee, Tarvin and many more. Love or hate them, they all provided me with a lot of fantasy drama that made the worse pvp I've ever participated in worth coming back to for all those years.
The only good pvp I ever had in relation to lotro was right here on these boards with Vic and as well as he fought, I kicked his buttahe (LOL)....
So keep up the good fight boys and girls and remember, it's Just A Game and more than likely, everyone you hate is probably a really great person in real life. Keep that drama alive, it isn't LotRO pvp without it.
PS: The only complaint I have about the game I'm engrossed in now is it doesn't have Server PVP Boards and that sux...
