Discussion: LOTRO 5th Anniversary Gifts character portrait frame

Please do not forget us creeps turbine we are loyal paying customers just the same as the other PVE players. As there is no mention of any new character portrait frame for us creeps I take it as you did not make any for us. I suggest you use what you already have made, and use that as our new portrait frame.

This would let us get a new character portrait frame like everyone else without having to create new ones for us. Note that this is just suggesting they could use what they already have made to raise the chance of us actually getting something. If turbine is willing to make new ones for us they could just utilize the eyes like this one *see below* and just add one for each year, and the year 5 one could be one of the more elaborate ones from above *one from year 3-5*

Also did not include the greenie portrait due to not having a screenshot of one, but it could also be utilized as the start portrait and take out one of the others if needed. Please do not leave us out turbine.

edit: Yes some will end up getting reverted down to older ones, or would still be the same as they are now if turbine adds the first suggestion.

It's gift for "being VIP" (aka giving them money), not being here any great length of time. They can stuff it too.

Creep portrait rings already advance with rank, which I prefer over your proposed system.

I think that your particular hierarchy of portraits is a good indication of how creep portraits should be shown every 3 ranks or so.

Either that, or make them connected to passives like they are now....once you have x amount of passives, you upgrade to the next portrait.

We need rank 11+ passives anyway.....would be easy to implement. lol

Changing the ring system was stupid but as they did they should now just do this:

Rank Ring
1-2 green (swarm)
3-4 blue (soldier)
5-6 red (signature)
7-8 red + ring (elite)
9-10 elite+flame (elite master)
11-12 that hard to explain one (nemesis )
13-14 Arch-Nemesis (Boss style with uber flame)
15 I dunno make something good

Good system, clear ranks, no noob rank 6 looking like my elite rank 10 who had to get rank 9 before he got elite ring back in the day.
Will finally make freeps think, oo look a creep with a flaming arch-nemesis name, he probably has some experience and i should not try blindly rush him
Find me a high rank who wouldnt want a name ring to reflect the time he has put in.

You'll be getting the custom frames as well. The anniversary tokens have also been updated and this year there the gift boxes have updated items in them.

This is Turbine guys. I wouldn't be suprised if we see our new portraits, they are terrible, and our mitigations have mysteriously dropped 10% in the process.
