Thread: The Ugly Truth

Hello All;

My name is Chris, and I hope to be transferring to this fine specimen of a server in the near future. I originally hail from Nimrodel server where I played for about 2 - 3 years. I took a break from the game, and find myself coming back for some more abuse. As the few remaining people I know play on this server, I too am making the pilgrimage to Riddermark!

Now for the awful, ugly and terrifying truth.

Lore-Masters are overpowered. I know. Your thinking - "Chris, Lore-Master's are worthless now, in fact they would fall in combat to a butterfly". You however, would be most incorrect. Us Lore-Masters are quite capable at doing EVERYTHING that every other class can do. Sure, it's not quite as good as what any other class can do, but when you combine all the parts we're like a super class, dare I even say demi-gods.

Need a heal (an only one, none of this spam healing) we got that covered! Want some single target DPS. I have that in buckets! AOE spike damage? Sure thing! Buffing and/or debuffing? I can do it every 30 seconds, and I have to! You need inductions? I might just have the strongest inductions in the game, bar none!

Oh and I can tank like a boss.

Wouldnt worry too much about creep zergs when you have heal spamming minis and heal stacked groups

The constant freep zergs also supply endless fun as well, along side of the creep zergs.

Also, and endless supply of 1v1 tea parties.

Are you or have you ever been... a zerglet?!

I can't recall a single LM that plays well in the present moors. Mushi and earl I guess but they don't really freep anymore. The rest aren't worth mentioning or have faded from memory. Maybe you will bring something different?

Well, hope to nom you...ummm... see you soon on Ridder. And I would have to agree with Sozu. It's been a while since a good LM has graced the Ridder Moors as the talented ones either play other classes now or creep exclusively.

I have joined raids, but I much rather play in small groups (6 or less, it's much more romantic). I've also been known to perform solo acts.

I won't likely bring anything different. I am after all, quite terrible. I'm going to group with 5 mistrals and have them all heal-bot me while I try to get off a single induction. You will feel the awesome power of Lore-Masters.

just for fun, I dug this up out of the old archives. It's really quite old, but I think it demonstrates the effectiveness of Lore-Masters quite well.
