Thread: Dwarf-Steel armour recipes set location

so i got my guardian up to lvl 38 and i only have the chest peice and am wondering where the Dwarf-steel armour recipes drop... i have looked all over the internet and havnt found where they drop if there is even a specific mob that drops them or if they are just dropped where ever

the recipes should drop from humanoid mobs. IIRC, dwarf-steel recipes are tier 4, so you should get the corresponding metalsmithing scrolls in the trollshaws and angmar.

Indeed, all recipes drop randomly from humanoids. Just adding a minor correction to the poster above - Angmar will drop mostly tier 5 stuff, so I wouldn't look there. Your best bet would be Evendim, with all those tomb robbers and such.

Make sure you also keep an eye on the Auction House. I've picked up many patterns for pennies over the years. Look both in the Metalworking - Tier 4 category under Crafting->Recipes, and also for Artisan scroll cases in the Crafting->Scrolls category.

I was wondering the same thing. I have yet to get any of these from Trollshaws and was wondering where else has more humanoids.
