Thread: The Forsaken Inn - riddle 22 NEVER shows up .. help

So very frustrated.. been trying hundreds of times.. literally to complete the Riddles Beneath The Inn deed but riddle 22 just never shows up. I'm even standing in front of the first door giving the only the correct answer for riddle 22.. copy/paste over and over and over but it never shows up. Any suggestions, tips, etc greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My only suggestion would be to keep trying as my understanding is that it is completely random. I believe it is still working as my kin leader spent one of the last couple of weekends completing that deed on one of his characters. I don't know which riddles he had completed beforehand though.

You might not want to constantly give the answer to the riddle you're looking for though... If I was making something like this, and someone entered the wrong answer, I would code it so that it would not give you the riddle for the answer you just gave. However the creator of the door may have been more lenient than I would be.

It does show up, I know, I've done it. To maximize my runs I did (as I recall) four or five attempts on each of the first 3-4 doors in a low lvl, then reseted and started over one lvl above. Annoying, yes but it worked in the end.

The answers to each riddle have to provided as an emote. For example, if the correct answer is 'bow' then you would enter "/bow" in the chat/action line - with the door selected as the target of your 'bow.'

You can also click through the Emote menus provided by the Emote 'bubble' on the chat line. Just make sure that the door is targeted when you pop the emote.

Erm.. *cough* You might want to actually read the first post hehe.

I only just started giving the answer for riddle 22.. which now I have stopped but really the riddle just never shows up and I have done the entire instance from start to finish hundreds of times so now i'm just working on the door because it gets old after hundreds of times. It shouldn't be this random. This is a little ridiculous in my personal opinion.

I remember it taking quite a long time to get the last few riddles. slap/slap/slap/read, answer if I needed that riddle. Repeat as necessary.

Also, just tried this on a mid level toon. Got Riddle 22 within 6 or 8 riddles.

Are you sure you are entering the correct emote?

If you are entering an emote, you get rejected hundreds of times. Perhaps you are entering an emote that doesn't solve any of the riddles.

Remember the riddle changes after three incorrect emotes. 300 emotes only gives you 100 riddles.

I'm not getting the riddle.. it has nothing to do with entering the correct emote.

The way I got some of the riddles completed was via spamming the correct emote for a riddle that I had not done until the door opened. I could spam the emote while doing something else. You got to be sure if you are using the "Yula Bunny Trick" that you have an emote that answers a riddle - hopefully it is the answer for a Riddle that you need to complete for the deed.

You don't think I sat at my PC, stared at the monitor reading the riddle text waiting for the correct riddle number to come up? I did that for a little while. Why am I doing it this way? I do not need to read anything.

Yay finally got it! Thanks to all the helpful posts. Now I never have to do this instance again unless I really want to do it for fun. It is actually a fun instance so I probably will do it again, lol... but not anytime soon unless someone needs help. :-)
