Yeah, the best advice is to group up with other players as soon as you get a chance to. Most of the content in the game can be run with a group (certain things, especially the epic quest line, are "solo instances" that you must drop group to do) and stuff's generally a lot more fun to run with other people. At lower levels, the end of a successful fellowship usually results in the players in kinships offering kin invites to the group members who don't belong to a kin. Kinships are extremely helpful and are great ways to get help with quests/crafting/advice etc.
