Thread: Why does The Wild Hunt quest arc give rep with the Grey Company?

I recently ran an alt through Enedwaith again and noticed that all the Wild Hunt quests gave reputation with The Grey Company. I would assume Algraig would be more appropriate, or am I missing something?

Yeah. You missing the reason why you are doing the Wild Hunt. You are trying to get the Master of the Hunt to help the Rangers.

If you read the conversations between the locals, you will find the Master of the Hunt has ordered them to allow your character to take the Challenge for your Ranger buddies. At least one of them, it very peeved that the Master of the Hunt has chosen to offer his help to the Rangers if you are up to the challenge.

Oh, of course! I really knew that but had forgotten the story. Silly me. You know you've done things too many times when you forget the reasons you are doing them and just rush through things..

First off, love this quest chain, recommend it for anyone

Second, it appears bugged for me and I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same thing? The falcon challenge never starts. I can run to the Falcon, but it does not trigger a conversation with him, and sitting around for 5-10 minutes does not also. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.
