Thread: my.lotro.com/home error message.

Hi,

Any idea when my.lotro.com will work?
http://my.lotro.com/home/profile/ only result in an error message.

I've had these since EU players were migrated.

This problem has been around for a very long time.

The main cause of this is due to the EU Kinships that were around prior to the Migration

You will note that any toon you have that is not currently in a Kin, or is in a Kin created AFTER the Migration is listed and details do show

We have no idea IF they ever intend to fix it.

After all, this site is STILL only a BETA

And to quote Sapience' on last requested info ...... "There is currently no confirmed eta on a fix"

It is a bit annoying, to be honest. It can not be that difficult to fix.

Oh well.

over 40 pages, with the last dev response about a year ago... guess this isn't an important issue... why would EU people need full access to the forums anyhow, we did without it for years

It's not about the Forums
It's all about Character Profiles, Blogs, Friends List and such

Whilst with Codies we were always asking for access to MyLotro for EU players
When the Migration happened we all assumed we would be getting that access
Which made the migration a bit better to swallow .... We were finally going to get access to something we wanted for years.

Then the Migration happened, and MyLotro was broken for EU Kinships

Havent been able to get the mylotro home page to populate for eternity. kinda hard to enter lotteries or even see if any exist if the page wont populate. Btw im on a us server, Brandywine to be exact. Maybe its down and I just missed the info, who knows

I am not from an EU server, have been on a US server since Sept 2010 and I have been unable to get into my lotro since update (U7). I can't even do it in game. Most of the time I can't log into the forums either. I have tried 3 different computers all have the same problem. So I don't think this has to do with EU servers. My husband has no problem logging into my.lotro from any of the computers so I think its a forum issue.
