    Melding and old relics acquired from melding.

    Apparently I wasn't able to find an answer to my question, so here it goes.

    I have Westfold relics that I acquired from melding. Is there any way to upgrade them to Great River? I cant' seem to find any, the only solution seems to be just get them out and refine to get at least shards back... but it's such a vaste. Is this the only way?
